Sea Orchid is a two bedroom two bathroom condo at La Brisa residential condominiums. Located opposite of Key West's largest beach, La Brisa offers many amenities including a large pool, hot tub, tennis courts, dry saunas and off street parking.

Located on South Roosevelt Boulevard, this secure gated community is directly opposite Smathers Beach. La Brisa offers a neighborly and relaxing atmosphere. Join in on community held activities at the club house, play in a match on the tennis courts and enjoy the sizable pool, hot tub and a spacious common area for chatting, eating and lounging in the sun.
Make your vacation memorable and relish in the comfort and beauty of The Sea Orchid. This recently renovated condo features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a magnificent view of the ocean. The open air design of the living/dining area adds to the spaciousness. While looking out over the Atlantic Ocean, recline on your sofa or rock yourself in your wicker rocking chair and take in the colors of a Key West sunset. The recently renovated kitchen is roomy and boasts a stainless steel refrigerator, and double sink. The large glass dining table has room for six a great view of the ocean.
The primary bedroom offers a king bed and double windows looking out over the ocean and a fabulous walk in closet/dressing room. The spa-like primary bathroom has dual vanities and an oversized, glass-enclosed walk-in shower. This bedroom also has its own individual access to the private balcony, perfect for an early morning cup of coffee and a sunrise. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a large closet boasting lots of storage. The second bathroom is stylish with its modern glass and tile shower, full wall mirror and granite topped vanity.
La Brisa captures a feel for island life, the way the locals live it, away from the clamor of down town. Quiet moonlit walks on the beach, a morning café con leche from a local vendor and a beach sunrise make for an unforgettable vacation. And while you are tucked away from the noise, you are not too far away. There is a bike trail that leads you along the Atlantic Ocean, past many Key West sights, into the down town area. A large selection of fantastic Key West restaurants and attractions are just a pleasant bike ride away.

Great stay

Making the arrangements was easy. It was a little inconvenient to have to go to the office to check in instead of getting a code and going right to the property. I would suggest offering a little more information for people getting there for the first time. We spent a lot of time searching ways of transportation, i.e. bus availability,Duval loop , taxi’s etc. as we were not in the center of Key West. Uber was readily available. The location was terrific with a beach right across the street. The office did not have much information about transportation into the main attractions. Very nice condo

My girlfriend and I had a girls week long vacation for a first time trip to the Keys. This condo was vey nice, actually reminded me a lot of the condo my parents owned at one time in Orange beach Al. we at the beach. The condo was close enough to Duval St. but far enough off to avoid all the noise. It was decoratd very nicely, we did not use any of the cookwear but noticed it was well stocked.Manager's ResponseThanks for your review! The views are worth it all!

This condo was even better than the pictures! Very roomy, comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, and a GORGEOUS ocean view. We loved having Smathers Beach directly across the street, plus the complex pool and hot tub. My only (and very minor) complaint is that the road noise at night is noticeable for a light sleeper. I recommend bringing ear plugs if that bothers you. Even with that, would highly recommend this place and definitely come back!Manager's ResponseThank you for your Five Star review! The condo we rented at LaBrisa exceeded our expectations! The unit has been updated nicely and has everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to the bathrooms The bed in the master bedroom was amazingly comfortable. The pool area is well kept and the residence were all very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this unit.The beach is right across the street also very well kept and clean. to many restaurant's in the area to even begin to list finding a good place to eat was not an issue.

My husband and I went there for a week with anohter couple. The rental was a 2 bedroom/2 bath and was very spacious and had all the ammenities needed for our stay. The place is well located, has a great view and was really perfect for us. We would definitley recommend this to others.

Great Spring Break Trip.

Really enjoyed our stay. Loved the location being across from the beach, along with being a 5-10 minute drive to anywhere we wanted to go. The room was very clean and equipped well. View was great, the covered parking was a bonus. Enjoyed the heated pool daily after spending the day at the beach. If we had anything we could complain about it would be the AC unit being very loud in the smaller bedroom, and we could not get the dishwasher to work. Neither a deal breaker and will not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

From the moment we got here we loved it we walked through the front door and you could see the ocean view! Kitchen with all you need for a weeks day. Beds are comfortable I love the modern look and the new updated bathrooms were beautiful. There were beach towels there and plenty of linens and bath towels etc. Even had beach chairs in the closet. Walk across the street to the beach just have to cross the road. The road traffic didn’t bother me at night it was in the mornings when I would’ve preferred it to be a little bit more quiet. There was some seaweed smell that came in that was not very pleasant but that was due to the storm this past week. Smathers beach is beautiful I love it there. Pool was beautiful even though we didn’t use it much. There’s actually an ABC store a block away we took our moped to. Quick Uber ride downtown and to grocery store. The birds would come to our deck every day and sit there with us. Will definitely stay here again! I will say don’t forget your keys to use the elevator and stairwell if you are out late night. We failed to see this on the instructions and we’re stuck outside for over an hour at 4 AM until someone heard us yelling to open the door!

My family of 4 enjoyed our time in this condo for our summer vacation! The rental was clean and comfortable and just as promised. Little bit of a communication mix up with the office as we arrived at 8pm when office was closed. We were told to use the phone at the gate to call the office for admittance through an automatic page it would send them. This didn’t work so we were lucky enough to have some residents let us in. Then the packet they’d left us in the unit said to call a number to tell them we’d arrived. I did but the guy seemed annoyed I’d called. Obviously communication within the office is lacking. So the after hours check in process could use some tweaking. Overall, though, the whole experience was great and we’d definitely come here to stay again!

A perfect condo!

Our girls trip was 100% perfect with this condo! The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms had plenty of towels, there was about 10 beach towels, the closets in the bedrooms were huge with tons of space, there is a safe, (which was great), the outside balcony overlooking the beach was a perfect coffee and happy hour spot!! The pool area is very nice and peaceful and we enjoyed watching the iguanas and lizards roaming around. The assigned parking spot for our car was a great feature too. All the staff was friendly and helpful if we needed anything. The condo was clean and everything looked nice. I would come back in a heartbeat!!

This property was absolutely gorgeous!! The view was so peaceful and the home was very clean and comfortable! It seemed like some remodeling was done and the work is beautiful! I just wish the doors from the master bedroom that led to the balcony opened! We had a few issues with the batteries to key card to enter the property being dead and had to get those switched out a few times but everyone we delt with was so friendly and helpful!! The last full day of our vacation the only elevator for the building we were in broke which left my Dad stuck in the room the entire day due to fact that he couldn't go up and down 4 flights of stairs so that was a huge disappointment since we had to cancle quite a few plans we had made for that day. I would say that if you aren't physically capable of going up and down flights of stairs keep that in mind and I would also ask for two entry keys to start with that way if one doesn't work you aren't sitting there waiting for someone else who lives there to let you in. Overall I would absolutely recommend this location for vacation! Manager's ResponseThank you for your review and your kind words. Everything we had hoped for and more!

This was our first trip to Key West so we had no prior experience about where to stay. For us this was the perfect location with Smather's Beach just across the street and easy access to any restaurant on the island as well as an easy drive to Duvall Street, Hemingway House, Mel Fisher museum and the main pier area. The place was ideal for 4 adults. It was clean with great views from the deck shown here. We had coffee out there every morning. We would stay here again for sure.

Wonderful Condo

This condo was perfect. It is in a quieter part of town, across the street from the beach, was well equipped with beach towels, beach chairs, plenty of bathroom towels and everything you would need in a kitchen. It was very clean and well maintained. The complex had a wonderful pool, tennis courts and three gas grills. I would highly recommend 405E at La Brisa.

Wonderful Key West Vacation Rental

We really enjoyed our week’s stay at La Brisa #405. Although we weren’t all that close to Duval Street where all the action is, it was very easy to get around. The pool was wonderful and it was blocked from the wind (it was quite cool for nearly the whole week we were there.) The condo was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. The view was beautiful, although the street was very busy and there was quite a lot of traffic noise. The WiFi was very slow, which was a little bit annoying since we did try to do some work while we were there. But, overall, it was a great week and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this rental.

This condo is located in a great spot – directly across from a wide, sandy beach; relatively close to downtown Key West, and close to many historic neighborhoods. The condo itself is well stocked with all you need to prep meals and entertain. The porch overlooks the beach, where we watched birds and parasailing, and people! The management team was very responsive. In fact when we accidently broke a sliding screen door, they fixed it the next morning – no questions asked.We highly recommend both this unit and the management group

This condo had everything as mentioned online and more. Very well stocked with plenty of nice towels and extra sheets and blankets. All the neighbors and other guests were so nice. We loved our stay here and would definitely return here again! Jann at check in was amazing and she clearly loves her job and helping travelers and you have to meet her bulldog Gigi if you get the chance. The ONLY reason I do not give the property a 5 is because there is a koi fish pond with a inoperable waterfall inside the pool deck that was less than adequate and it was very dirty. I felt sorry for the beautiful fish as you could barely see them through the muck. The property felt very safe and secure. Manager's ResponseThank you for your wonderful review! Great Location!

We just returned from our trip, back to Illinois and 7 degree weather! We wanted to stay at La Brisa 405E a month!! The beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, plenty of room for my husband and I plus our adult son who came along at the last minute. The pool and hot tub is literally an elevator ride and a few steps from the condo. The beach is across the street; entering right by the restrooms and chair rental shack. It was perfectly convenient. We chose to drive most places only because of recent hip surgery, but the bike path is also right across the street and everything is close enough to bike wherever you want to go. We would love to return again to this exact location. We did find that the displayed picture of the balcony does not show the large power line right in front of the view. Not a big deal, just that it isnt exactly as shown. We also notified the rental agency about the ice maker not working and the screen to the balcony not working properly when we checked in. It was not repaired during our week stay, but perhaps they were waiting until we checked out. La Brisa 405E Sea Orchid RentKW

We had a wonderful vacation! La Brisa is a beautiful gated complex across the street from Smathers Beach. La Brisa 405E Sea Orchid is a beautiful updated condominium! Being able to cook our own meals and wash our clothes anytime we wanted was fantastic. The complex has a great pool and hot tub. The staff and concierge with RentKW are wonderful! Phillip, the concierge gave us great recommendations for snorkeling, diving and kayaking. We had a slight problem with the dryer in the unit and it was fixed very quickly. All of the staff are professional and very friendly. We will definitely stay here again!

Key West vacation

Overall the vacation and accommodations were very enjoyable. The one minor negative was that in a two bedroom condo with four guests we were provided only two beach chairs. Four chairs would have been nice.

Perfect View, Perfect Getaway

We just returned from a much needed vacation in Key West with smiles on our faces and pleasant memories! After a tumultuous month of family losses that also took a few days away from our vacation, we salvaged the time we had and were not disappointed! The condo was so welcoming! Clean, well stocked, great layout/decor and we loved being on the top floor to take in the view! The mornings from the balcony looking out on the water are priceless. It can get a little noisy at times, but is relative to the locatiion. The rental office and staff were so welcoming and helpful -- we could not have asked for more! Only thing we would love to do is rent it for a monthly rate. We will be back next year!

Very Nice!

Very clean condo. Loved that the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Bathrooms were very prettty and were fully supplied with lots and lots of towels. Loved that the condo had plenty of extra bedding and even had beach towels and beach chairs and a cooler. The downside was the traffic that you heard off the balcony and the master bedroom.

Best Place to stay at Key West

This is our 2nd trip to Key West and the 2nd time we have rented from Rent Key West. La Brisa 405E is a great place. It has been remodeled and is quite lovely. The view of the water is breathtaking. Smathers Beach is just a few steps away across the street. The prettiest beach in Key West is definitely Smathers Beach. You can rent chairs and umbrellas there at a reasonable rate of $ 10 a day each. Our favorite restaurant was Blue Heaven in Bahama Village and all the places we ate was very good. The ladies at Rent Key West ( Paige and Joyce ) were very helpful with our reservations and since we arrived on Sunday when they were closed, we had our keys in a lock box with our name on it when we arrived, very convenient. We will definitely return !!!!!

Wonderful week at La Brisa. Condo was equipped with just about everything one could need for a fun stay in Key West. We rented bikes and biked all over town day and night. Location of condo right across from Smathers Beach is lovely. Used pool and hot tub every day. Loved every minute of our stay.

Sea Orchid La Brisa #405E

The La Brisa complex and location was perfect. The pool area was amazing and having Smather's Beach right across the road was nice. The view and the lay out of the condo was great. The only real issue was the cleanliness of the condo itself. The floor made your feet black after walking on it. I could understand at the end of the week if it was a little dirty, but this was an hour after our arrival. My wife and kids took an hour of their time to clean I it properly. Also the wire racks that the clean towels sit on had a yellow gunky film on them, not very appealing. There was also a halo of dirt on the ceiling around the ceiling fan. I did tell the rental company about these things toward the end of the trip just to give them a heads up about the cleaning company. They said I should have contacted them earlier and they could have done something about it. But in the end for all the money that we paid, shouldn't be cleaned right before we check in??

We were blown away by the beauty and cleanliness of this condo. It was equipped with everything we would need, right down to beach towels. The views and people watching were fantastic. If it weren't for things to do, we could have spent the whole time on the balcony. Loved all the windows so if you needed to be inside, it felt like you were at the beach cause the view was all there. Traffic on road out front did not bother us. Would definitely love to go back.

Lovely condo on Smathers Beach

This was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo on the 4th floor of a 4 building complex. Nicely furnished, newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms. Balcony overlooks ocean & beach. Close to town & restaurans. We rode bikes everywhere. Nice path across from complex.washer/dryer is nice touch as are a good complement of kitchen equipment if you want a break from eating out. Great vacation. We were very pleased with our accommodations. The view was amazing. There were a few small things that could have been updated/repaired but overall it was the perfect place to stay. The front door of the property was very hard to close and open. Also not sure that the cleaning company really worked very hard on getting the floors clean. Other than those issues, our stay was perfect. The location is great. The property management company was very helpful and courteous. The other residents at the complex were very nice and welcoming. We can't wait to go back!

Loving Key West at LaBrisa

La Brisa unit 405E is very nice and the view of the ocean across from Smathers beach is beautiful. We drank our morning coffee out on the patio soaking in the view. This was our 3rd time in Key West and we have requested 405E and La Brisa each time. One thing though, the pool area bathroom tile floor is VERY slippery when wet so be careful. We are looking forward to our next trip to La Brisa 405E and the many adventures in Key West. Thanks for making our vacation wonderful.

Pretty view, but a little too noisy

Condo was accurately described in the listing, but could not get used to the noise at night. Very well decorated, bathrooms and kitchens were beautifully updated. The linens could be updated, sheets were rough and the pillows were lumpy. Even though the kitchen was modern, some of the dishes/glassware/silverware and pots and pans were put away dirty. The pool area was very nice and clean. Rode our rented bikes daily to Duvall street, easier and cheaper than trying to park the car. Overall, the condo was what I expected, I was aware of the street in front of the condo, but the noise at night, especially scooters, was really hard to block out. Daytime was no problem and enjoyed sitting out on the patio enjoying the view.

Amazing condo with breathtaking view!

We had such a wonderful stay in this condo! The view was incredible and the condo was very well appointed. The master bedroom and bath were gorgeous and the bed is very comfortable. Air conditioning works great, very quiet and efficient, very clean and did I mention great views? Pool and hot tub are close by and only 1 person was there. Felt very safe and secure and the bonus is this condo is right in front of the elevator entrance so very convenient too!The rental company was wonderful too always quick to respond and so nice and helpful!

Great Condo

The condo was as depicted on the web site, very clean and well equipped. The condo is spacious, well furnished and the layout is super, especially if travelling with another couple. The view from the balcony is lovely. We were pleasantly surprised to realize Ls Brisa is located across from the best beach in Key West. We enjoyed the pool and spa and the development is quiet so easy to relax and unwind I highly recommend the condo, it is good value and would return.

Great escape from the cold

It was a home away from home. Once we got settled, everything was conveniently located. The location was 1.4 miles from the airport. To get the key to the place, we had to go into town. The cab driver took us from the airport to pick up the keys and back to La Brisa for $38 plus tip, which I thought was excessive. Everything was so close that for the rest of the week, we spent close to nothing getting around. Loved running on the beach every morning with the beautiful sunrise! It would've been perfect if the condo was on the other side of the road so you were on the beach from the balcony rather than the major street between us. That made sitting outside on the balcony a little noisy. The condo itself was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The second bathroom shower knob turned hot to cold instead of cold to hot, and the balcony screen door did not slide well so we didn't use it. The concierge service was very helpful, too. Overall, we had a great time and definitely loved to go back and rent the same condo again.

Loved La Brisa 405E Sea Orchid

We loved our stay. The condo was in great shape - very nice master bath! Nice towels. Great view in master bedroom and family room although there is a power line there. Very nice kitchen and well equipped. We liked being off of Duval but yet still close by. There is a city view trolley stop just a few blocks away. Only negative is some nights there was barking dog that kept our son awake and you do smell the sulfur smell at this location. However it is not that bad and worth it because of the view. We will stay here again on our next visit to Key West.

A Perfect Winter Escape

This was our first stay at Sea Orchid and if all goes according to plan, we'll be back for many repeat winter visits. Rent Key West was great to deal with and everything was exactly as we had hoped. The view of the ocean was great each morning having coffee on the balcony and the location is as perfect as you could get in Key West. While many may prefer being close to downtown we found that with the KW bus stop directly in front of the building, getting just about anywhere in KW is a breeze and very inexpensive. Thanks for a wonderful and very relaxing stay and we look forward to returning next winter.

I have come to Key West every year for many years with my children. We have stayed at Casa Marina and the sheraton. This year I was lucky enough to have all three of my boys with me. They are adults now and I would have had to rent two rooms at a hotel.Apt 405 E was available and i gave it a try. It was perfect !! Couldn't have been better!!!Kitchen was well equipped and i love to cook. You can imagine how much $ I saved by cooking . The view was great . PLenty of towels sheets etc .Pool also was really fine. Cant't wait to go back!!!!It was really a great place to stay!!!
