In the heart of Old Town, convenient to everything, this condo is set above a brick and tree lined courtyard that includes shops and restaurants. This three bedroom two bath unit is in one of two standalone WALK-UP buildings in the Duval Square complex.
You enter a large open living, dining, kitchen area with French doors and balcony overlooking the courtyard below. The main bedroom with ensuite bath has a king bed and access to a second deck area overlooking the courtyard. There is a shared pool and sunning area that overlooks the world famous Duval Street just across the courtyard. This condo offers central air conditioning/heat and one reserved parking space in the gated garage. PLEASE NOTE THIS PROPERTY IS ACCESSED BY STAIRS ONLY.

The condo was great as well as the staff. We would use Rent Key West Vacations again but might pick another property. This property is extremely loud starting at about 6 AM. Maintenance, restaurants setting up, foot traffic, and of course the 4 AM roosters. 🙂

Roosters at 3:30AM aren’t too pleasant, also checkout could have been later, say 11AM. Other then that no complaints, unit was spotless and staff was friendly….everything you need is right in Duval Square or short walking distance. Would stay again!

We've been renting with Rent Key West since 2010 and usually stay on Ann Street. This time our family wanted to join us so we rented a three bedroom on Duval Square. The property was very nice, well equipped, and very clean. The stairs and walking across the square to the pool and car were not a big deal. We really like the fact that there is free parking at that location. All in all, we're very satisfied...and we're trying to figure out how we can get back down to our favorite place soon. Management is very responsive and maintains good communication/instructions. I was unaware this condo was above a retail/restaurant property but we liked the location on Duval Street. Blackout drapes in the bedrooms might help with the rooster noise and all the early morning light. Very clean unit. Plenty of regular/beach towels which were appreciated.

The condo and location were great. One thing we did not like was that there was a worker running a leaf blower most mornings at 7:45 to 8:30. It was too loud to have a peaceful coffee on the deck.

The House is very well kept, well stocked with linens and towels and spacious. This area is located 10-15 minute walk from just about every attraction on Key West. Great restaurants in the same complex and within a few blocks. We had a wonderful stay.

Fantastic Condo Near Everything

The place was very clean and a great location. The roosters are loud, so expect to hear them early morning(Picture My Cousin Vinny), but this is Key West, so you expect to hear that. It said that is sleeps 8, but we could not find enough linen's to make the cot or put someone on the couch. Management took a couple of days to get it to us, but they were very nice. In all everything was great, I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location!

In this condo was perfect for our stay. The location could not have been better, in the middle of Duval Square with a patio overlooking activity, restaurants and a great people watching space. It had everything we needed. The only comment is that the a/c and the fans are both pretty loud but only a little bothersome at night and we adjusted quickly. The pool was clean and adequate, we only used it once. I would stay here again!

The condo was nice overall. It was hard to initially find the rental office even with the detailed email and the parking garage is down the block which we did not expect. You can hear noise into the night from the restaurants below. The shower in the master bedroom is pitiful. The condo was clean and spacious.

Spacious place in a great location on Duval Street. A few blocks further down from the late night action, but, not isolated at all. The pool was great for some down time as well as sitting on the spacious exterior porch. Just enough going on in the courtyard for people watching, but not a late night crowd at all. All of the fishing/water sport activities were a short Uber/Lyft ride away.

My wife and I and 4 friends spent several days here. The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The unit itself was really nice, everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was great. We were worried that the back alley might've been a little loud during Memorial Day weekend, but inside the unit it wasn't bad at all. Dealing with the prop. management company was a breeze too.

We found Duval Square Condo to be very convenient to everything Key West. We were pleasantly suprised at just how quiet it was inside the condo given it was located on Duval.The condo could use some updates (couch was not very comfortable, bedroom furniture was showing some age, and AC did not cool common area very well). Generally speaking, the condo was clean and well maintained, nothing broken or in disrepair. If you love Italian we would highly recommend the New York Pasta Garden restaurant located below the condo - ask for Donna or Jeannette.Manager's ResponseThank you for staying with us and sharing your feedback. Awesome condo right off the main drag

This place had an awesome location. It’s about 30 yards off Duval. There’s plenty of restaurants and bars around. There’s also a convenience store right next door. There are two balconies that overlook the courtyard where the rental office is. Across the courtyard there’s a place with bottomless mimosas for $7.95. Can’t beat that deal in Key West. Only bummer was we had to be out of the condo by ten but our flight wasn’t until 4:30. Also a bit pricey after all the fees but you pay for the great location.

This rental was great. Large enough for 6 adults, and 2 young grandchildren. Photos are accurate. Nice, fully equipped kitchen. Nice porch. Clean. Lots of towels. At first, I was put off by the instructions to wash our own towels but the washer and dryer are in the condo, and easy to use, so it worked out fine. Great location. Bring earplugs though - the roosters, parrots and leaf blower are noisy!

I have to say this was more than I expected. The accommodations were very comfortable, plenty of room for 5 of us, and pretty much everything we needed. we are in KW several times per year so find rentals that allow us to park and walk. first time here although we knew about them from eating at restaurants in the courtyard. chose this location as we had family with us and needed more room. Jann at the agency was fantastic. the place shows its age in places but nothing unacceptable but I'd send a maintenance crew through there and just fix up, clean up and maybe even some updates. noise was a factor with leaf blowers at early hours and garbage trucks - you are above restaurants and businesses, at least in our unit - so that's to be expected. maybe best to note this in the rental so those who don't want to be up at 6a won't be! This home is beautiful and in a great location. Everything was sparkling clean and decorated in a tasteful Key West style. The location was perfect for us. The parking was convenient and we were only a few stops from Duval. After a day exploring the outer Keys it was great to relax in the private pool. We booked this some time ago and were very pleased with our stay. Also, the office was very helpful with recommendations on restaurants and excursions. I would highly recommend The Salty Goat for fishing and El Siboney for a meal. In addition, the restaurant in front of our place had a wonderful drink menu.

We came to Key West for a wedding with several other couples and adults and found the condo to be very spacious and clean. Joyce was very helpful and when we were concerned about the fridge she sent someone right away to be sure it was working correctly. The location was perfect in that we could walk to everything we wanted without being in the congested part of Duval St. Make sure you visit the wonderful french cafe La Grignote for the best eggs benedict of your life! We had great food from places on Duval Sq as well as the Thirsty Mermaid. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time there. Make sure you have a sound machine app as the roosters start at 4am. They are everywhere so if you are a light sleeper beware. We would readily rent this condo again. It shows some wear and tear so just note what is stained or broken so you have a record of this too. The condo was in a great location on Duval Street, within walking distance of the western end with all the restaurants and bars and of the eastern beaches and southernmost point. We were able to cook several dinners and all breakfasts in the apartment with the supplied equipment and utensils. The three-bedroom, two bath apartment was well suited to our family - parents and two adult children with their spouses. The balcony overlooking Duval Square was our favorite gathering place, and the large living room was comfortable for us all as well. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with towels, with a washer and dryer as well. I would highly recommend this location.

The balconies overlooking the courtyard were great and we enjoyed the pool. We have rented many vacation condos in the past and our only recommendation is that the kitchen could be better equipped. Best vacation ever!

It was everything we wished for and more. The place was spacious, well equipt with everything we needed. It was so clean, the beds and sofa were so comfy, management was absolutely the best, the location was perfect within walking distance to everything yet tucked away in cozy cornor surrounded by parrots and nature. Our place was clean and well equipped, a bit tired but perfectly serviceable. We enjoyed the location although we slept with windows open and on occasion had some human night noise, not to mention the roosters. Not a real problem and a/c would have solved it if we wanted. We whistled back and forth with the neighboring parrots in the morning, which was a highlight. Joyce at RKW was amazing; very helpful and a great source for local restaurants. A great vacation that we could easily repeat. Thank you all.

We enjoyed the location of this condo. In the middle of Duval we could walk anywhere.Great location. Below the condo were 2 awesome restaurants.The home was clean and comfortable, rooms private. The kitchen could be better outfitted for the price they charge! Cookware, utensils, knives that cut , etc. Loved the pool.The staff was very responsive and helpful. We would surely return!

Great location in Key West

The property was exactly as described. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. The kitchen was nice, but could use new cabinets (and knobs). The beds were comfortable, the linens and towels nice and plentiful. Location perfect - easy to walk to the busy part of Duval but quiet. The deck could use a good cleaning, but it was still nice. I would highly recommend.

This is the 12th year that we have traveled to Key West in December. Depending on the group size, we do stay at various places. Duval Square Courtyard is always a favorite. Perfect location. The condo has all the amenities and space you could ask for. We needed some extra items, and responsiveness was excellent. Checking in on a Sunday may be a challenge if you are unfamiliar with the property as the office is closed, but we had zero issues. Can't wait for next year!

We loved our place. It was nice and cool and the fact that they recycled was great. The pool is about 5ft deep and was not as cool as we would like. We loved this location as it was a great central location. We rented bikes the duration of our stay, and biked to a beach everyday, and then mallory square every night for the Sunset Celebration. It was the more calm part of Duvall which was a nice location.

Beautiful Condo in a Perfect Location

We loved staying at this condo. We had 3 adult couples on this trap and had plenty of room. The master suite is just beautiful with it's own enclosed sun porch and own deck. The laundry facilities are in the master suite and are top of the line appliances. The kitchen and living areas are perfect for this size group too. We loved being in the heart of the action of Duval but removed enough that it was not loud at night. There were tons of places to eat within steps of our place.

Fantastic Visit & Stay

We were a group of 4 couples staying for a week during Fantasy Fest.The accommodations and location were ideal. This was not our first time to FF but it was our fist stay at Duval Square Condos. It was a very comfortable space for all of us. It was so nice to have 'space' for all 8 of us to come together and hang out before & after doing the Duval crawls. We were happy with our whole stay, no complaints at all. Some updates had been made to the condo since the online pics were taken and they were adding full-sized washer/dryer to the unit the day we left (that will be a super addition). The pool was lovely & always refreshing overlooking Duval, which is where we watched the parade for a different and less congested viewing. The Rent KW staff was very helpful with any special requests we had. Thank you, we will be back!

The property is in a very noisy location, above restaurants, and it has thin exterior walls, windows and apparently even flooring, so you hear noise whenever the restaurants are open or being cleaned (until at least 11 p.m. each night) and beginning again in the morning (around 7:30 a.m.) when the courtyard area around the restaurants are cleaned with leaf blowers. The master bedroom is particularly noisy -- we could hear many loud conversations and kitchen noises and felt like we were trying to sleep in the middle of a busy restaurant. We understand that old town Key West is a busy, noisy area that includes party-goers and roosters. However, this property is on upper Duval Street, which is generally quieter. Unfortunately, this particular unit's location directly above businesses made it as noisy as property's on lower Duval. The property also seems to be in need of better maintenance, with pealing interior paint in spots, two toilets that each backed up once during our one-week stay and one of two decks that has been taken over by birds. (It was unusable because of all the bird droppings, even after the management company cleaned it at our request when we first arrived).

Love this stay and will definitely stay again.the only downside is you can not get any sleep past dawn. between the roosters makiung their morning wake up calls (which can not be controlled0 and the 8 a.m. leaf blower cleaning the place every morning forget about staying up late and expecting to sleep in cause it isn't happening. Stayed there 3 years ago & several other times in other units in Duval Square so I knew what i was getting. Overall everything was fine. We did have issues with little ants,not just in the kitchen area but bathroom (toothpaste).Even though it wouldn't discourage me from returning ,several days I saw unsavory characters(homeless?) hanging in the area by our steps later at night.

Location, location, location. If you are looking for something in the heart of everything this is the spot for you. Duval square is located on the quieter end of Duval within walking distance to everything. I would record staying at Duval Square but not in this condo if you are picky. The master bedroom can hear everything that goes on below in the restaurants and courtyard, especially the parrots. The condo is in need of some touching up and paint but I really don't find that to be too big of a deal as I don't spend a ton of time in my condo while on vacation. The furniture is very heavy and the condo is packed with stuff. Again not a big deal if you don't plan to spend a lot of time there. The management company was very easy to deal with. They were happy to listen to our concerns and to try and reach a solution with us.

Location was great and the condo was very clean but the house needed some TLC. The pool was closed a few days due to them doing updates and one day my son got a awful rash from the pool which the doctor said was from to much or not enough chemicals in the pool. Overall this place was ok but for the price I though it would be a little nicer. I have stayed at other places in Key West with this rental company that were much nicer for less money. What you pay for at this place is one thing and that's the location!

Roomy appartment with perfect location

The appartment at Duval Square is bigger than it appears on the online photos, and suited us (two families: four adults, two kids and two todlers) perfect. It could need some refurbishment, as it is a bit worn. Also, the doors to the balcony from the large bedroom are not mosquito-proof (but can be fixed McGyver-style with some paper-tissue). However, the appartment was clean, beds were comfortable and the location is perfect, close to Duval Street (but still relatively quiet) and walking distance to South Beach. Several restaurants just downstairs, and a little pool on the roof of the adjecent building. Rent key West handled the booking impeccable.
