Built in 1917 as a “club” for Cuban cigar makers and their families as their home-away-from-home, this building soon became the center of social and community life for the Cuban population in Key West. After the original Cuban Club burned down in 1983, it was restored and converted to luxurious and spacious two bedroom suites.
The expansive living room features two plush sofas (one of which folds into a sleeper sofa), a coffee table, glass kitchen table with six comfy chairs, and a flat-screen TV. If cooking is your passion, then you’ll love the fully-stocked kitchen, which includes a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave.
The primary bedroom sits in a loft overlooking the living room, and it features a four-post queen-sized bed, two nightstands with reading lamps, an alarm clock, private ensuite bathroom, large closet, and a small electronic safe. Located downstairs is another bedroom with a queen-sized bed, private ensuite bathroom, a nightstand with reading lamp, large closet, and a flat-screen TV.
You’ll want to take pictures at the Southernmost Point in the continental United States (only 3.5 blocks away), and fulfill all of your shopping desires at the dozens, if not hundreds, of shops and stores distributed along Duval Street and the adjoining streets.
One block away is Banana Cafe, a fantastic French restaurant for breakfast with crepes, baguettes, and croissants. The sandy shores of South Beach are just three blocks away, with the Southernmost Cafe right there for lunch. The best sushi in town is served at Origami, also located one block away. It’s all there for you, so come and enjoy!

The unit was in a great location. Happy to have beach towels and chairs for the beach. Beds were comfortable. The coffee maker was missing a part, so we couldn’t use K-cups. The outside main door was tricky to open. The beeping sound on the door locks was very loud. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the porch overlooking Duval Street. A few things I would recommend, offer a few free coffee pods and when texting renters regarding using your portal to include a link to the portal.

The unit we were in was fabulous. It was in the heart of everything. No need for a car, golf cart or bikes. We walked where we wanted. We will stay there again.
The location was super convenient to so many restaurants and attractions. Being in the middle of it all made it a bit noisy at night and the local roosters definitely get you up bright and early. We really enjoyed the balcony - especially during an hours-long rainfall. We would suggest stocking the rental with tissues. Thanks!
