Tranquility on Ann Street was the perfect location for my husband and me on our recent vacation. I thought the house was a great layout and was conveniently located. Amenities were perfect - we had everything we needed. I think an extra counter could be added in the bathroom to the left of the sink to make that space even better. We appreciated the beach towels and the provided sunscreen was a pleasant surprise. We would stay here again without hesitation and would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

We had such an excellent stay. Everything was amazing. The unit was beautiful and super clean. The outdoor deck, pool and overall vibe of the place was incredible. The location couldn’t have been better, we were within a 5-10minute walk from everywhere we wanted to go. Would 100% recommend this place! We had one small snafu with our front door lock running out of battery, but they were there within 10minutes to fix it all up, super easy!)

Celebrated our 20th anniversary, found this gem! Beautiful, cozy unit that is close to all the action, but not noisy! Private pool is very cool. Clean and well maintained grounds (and unit) Excellent service and would recommend 110%. We just love staying at Ann St tranquility. as always dealing with Rent Key West has been great. despite a plumbing problem that was resolved they comped us the night anyway. And when we chose to extend our stay they charged us the rate we agreed upon when I first booked months ago. They are an honest company to deal with and we always feel welcome there. Resort level service at a Rental

We were blown away by the service provided by Rent Key West Vacations. From our booking date on, Dean was available to address any of our concerns. We had a very early flight into Key West and they accommodated us by storing our luggage at their rental office. We were prepared to return to pick them up but they had them delivered to our rental. Great spot steps from Duval but doesn't seem that way!

My wife and I spent a week at Ann Street Tranquility. We could not be more pleased with the cottage. It is in a great location just walking distance from all the popular spots of Old Town. That said, it was also plenty quiet and we could relax by the pool and sleep well even though we know there was serious partying happening just a hundred yards away. Cottage is perfect for two and we will definitely plan to return here in the future! Also, we think it would be a great spot to go with a group but everyone can have their own cottage (5 in the location).

The property was immaculate...the furniture very uncomfortable. Pillows on chairs, bed and even the throw pillows really need to be replaced. The sofa springs must in need of repair. Wicker chairs very uncomfortable. Instructions for remote for television need to be supplied. There were 2 remotes there, one marked Samsung like the tv. Using it all we got was streaming channels. Property manager came and showed us the correct remote for viewing live tv. Pool was nice. Parking expensive. It was quiet as promised. It was convenient to Duval St. Would have liked information about activities. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Key West just wish we had visited about 50 years ago. It is not geared at all to senior citizens or non-drinkers!

We spent a week at Tranquility. The location is ideal and the fact that there is a pool as an amenity makes it all the better so that we could relax for a couple of hours in between morning excursions and evening plans. Washer/dry and a dishwasher provide all the comforts of home.

Calm Before The Storm

We were on vacation at Ann Street Tranquility just before Hurricane Irma, and unfortunately had to leave due to mandatory evacuation. While the hurricane interrupted our plans, our experience prior to this at Tranquility was absolutely amazing. We have stayed at this location before, and always come back because this is such a great spot! It is near everything without being IN THE MIDDLE of the craziness. It has everything you could need, plus some, to make your stay amazing. We are always so comfortable here, and we will definitely be back! The staff at Rent Key West was wonderful during the evacuation and they made us feel like we were very appreciated and cared for. This is our favorite place to stay and we always hate to leave! Ann Street Tranquility Rental

We rented for a week over memorial day. The property was exactly as the pictures showed, and the amenities were outstanding. Everything from the property was well kept and the staff was very friendly. The property cat Minnie was also very friendly. Slightly noisy over the holiday weekend from the Duval street crowd, but nothing that would prevent us from renting again. If you need a perfect place to spend time in Key West, this location is the way to go! Thank you for everything.

Beautiful Get Away in Key West!

We had a wonderful 10-day vacation at Ann Street Tranquility! Beautiful property at a great location; within walking distance to everything in Old Town. Some late nights were noisy with Spring breakers partying on Duval, but mostly the location was quiet, serene and restful. The pool was nice and there was a float provided. One thing which is a lovely plus that isn't clear from the pictures, the side patio (where the grill is located) is a private patio with two lounge chairs, a table and four chairs. We had breakfast there most mornings and it was a lovely place to sit and read and relax. We will definitely be back to Ann Street Tranquility!

From the moment you pass through the charming white picket fence, all the noise and craziness that is Key West is left behind. The compound consists of 4 cottages, all beautifully set among the lush tropical plants. You meander down the bath to your front door. The cottage has a living room with a sofa that seats 3 and two side chairs. At one end of the family room is a nook that has the dinning table with room for 4. The galley kitchen is well stocked--pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, coffee maker. It has everything you need to eat any meal. The bedroom is off of the living room and has a very nice king size bed. There is access to your private patio off of the bedroom and the living room. The bathroom is off of the bedroom and has plenty of room with a walk-in shower (no tub). There is also a stackable washer and dryer off the bathroom. A nice surprise was the safe that is in the closet by the washer/dryer. Just an added sense of security if you need it.We enjoyed our large private patio-2 lounge chairs and a table for 4. The patio also has a locked gate to the street which makes it easy to bring bikes onto the premises. The pool was wonderful. We were there over the week of Labor Day and no one was ever at the pool. We had the pool to ourselves everyday. The pool is a good size, so no problem if you had to share. The entire compound is landscaped so that you don't realize you are in the heart of Key West. It is very quite and tucked away. We loved the entire place and felt we had an oasis all to ourselves.Tranquility was clean, plenty of towels; even towels for the pool. The only negative would be if you are a light sleeper. Tranquility is the first house inside the compound and is by the street. The garbage cans are outside the fence. You will have some noise from the street so if you are a light sleeper you may want to look at a house a little further back in the compound.

Best "couples" vacation ever...romantic, fun and relaxing.

We stayed at Ann Street Tranquility and it was as if they made it just for us. It was private and decorated beautifully. It was close to all the action on Duval but the noise level was quiet most of the time (a few garbage trucks and delivery trucks early in the morning). The pool and all facilities are as they are pictured on the website. The grounds were cleaned regularly and the pool was sparkling clean. We used the patio daily to barbecue or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. We won't go to Key West if we can't stay at Ann Street Tranquility. The people at Rent Key West were very helpful making arrangements for us to rent bikes (which we used daily to visit beaches and tour the town) and make reservations at local restaurants (Latitudes-a must for everyone visiting Key West).

Best "couples" vacation ever...romantic, fun and relaxing.

We stayed at Ann Street Tranquility and it was as if they made it just for us. It was private and decorated beautifully. It was close to all the action on Duval but the noise level was quiet most of the time (a few garbage trucks and delivery trucks early in the morning). The pool and all facilities are as they are pictured on the website. The grounds were cleaned regularly and the pool was sparkling clean. We used the patio daily to barbecue or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. We won't go to Key West if we can't stay at Ann Street Tranquility. The people at Rent Key West were very helpful making arrangements for us to rent bikes (which we used daily to visit beaches and tour the town) and make reservations at local restaurants (Latitudes-a must for everyone visiting Key West).

Key West getaway

This location is perfect and one block from Duval St.! We enjoyed our stay it felt like we were in a lush jungle but in town. Minnie the compound cat was a wonderful addition to our week. The only drawback for us was the August humidity! We will never come in August again! The only suggestion I'd give would be that they cut back the foliage a bit by the front path.

An Amazing place

We visit Key West frequently and have stayed in many of the wonderful hotels around town, but I must say this was by far the best stay we had. We enjoyed the comforts of home but yet we still felt that we were on vacation. Concierge was prompt in answering my e-mail with information that I had requested, and out booking agent was extremely helpful. We will be visiting again.

Absolutely Gorgeous!

Had a BLAST. Walking distance to everywhere. Didn't even have a car the entire week. 1 block of Duval, and still quiet at night. We cooked our own breaksfasts and ate out on our private deck/sitting area. I will DEFINITELY stay here again when I go back to the Keys. Beats a hotel by a MILE!!

Ann Street Tranquility

This cottage is really nice. Real island feel. An oasis in the middle of town. Great for a couples Key West getaway. Located right in the heart of downtown. Walking distance to everything. A bike ride to everything else. No need for a car ever. Loved the walk-in shower for two. King bed was very comfortable. Excellent Key West experience.

Joy in the Sun

We had a wonderful time. The rental had everything we needed and more. It so much fun to have a cat away from home. It was so close to everything yet quiet. We could stay by the pool and in the tropical garden and feel we had our own private retreat. Then off to watch the sunset. Perfect!!

We have had the opportunity to stay in a few of the cottages on Ann Street, all have been lovely but we love Tranquility the best! It's beautiful and clean and very tranquil! Even though you are so close to Duval St. you would never know it as it's nice and quiet! We adore it and highly recommend to all!!!!

Extremely nice condo. Fully stocked with everything you need! Location, location, location! We were very pleased and will return. Once you are in the condo, you hear very little noise from Duval. The pool was wonderful, we always had it to ourselves.

Wedding/Honeymoon

My Bride to be and I flew down to Key West a couple days prior to our wedding and stayed for a few days after. This condo was the perfect place to stay. Right in the heart of south Duval, but tucked away in its own quiet little paradise. Everyone who came down for our wedding that stopped by all commented on how much they loved our place. We plan on returning to Key West to renew our vows at some point in the future and this would be the first place we will look at to stay.

The house was terrific and we couldn't have picked a better place. Being right off of Duvall street made it so convenient. We flew in and didn't have a car, but we didn't need one! Everything was in walking/biking distance. We can't wait to go back!

It really can be Tranquil on Ann Street

The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The surrounding area was also very convenient, as we did not have a car (don't need one in that area) and walked everywhere. Fort Zachary was a nice walk, about 25 minutes each way. There were times when it was hard to believe that we were a block from the craziness of Duval Street because the compound was so peaceful. The only downside to this is that the garbage trucks did occassionally empty the dumpsters at 4 and 5 in the morning. Not sure if this is normal but it happened a few times during our 12 night stay. But that would not deter us from staying there again.

Traquility in Key West

We loved, loved, loved our stay at Ann Street Tranquility in Key West. My husband and I were looking for a low-key honeymoon option at a good price and this place did not disappoint. We are not necessarily large resort people...we wanted something more intimate. This was the place for us. Ann Street is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a honeymooning couple. The location is ideal as we were no more than a 10 minute walk from any of the restaurants/bars and other things to do in Key West. And even though we were close to everything, it felt like we were just tucked away in our private paradise. Beyond the white picket fenced gate around the entire compound, it was a tropical paradise with lush, beautiful landscaping. There are about 5-6 different units inside the compound, but we did not see another soul there until our last evening. Ann Street Tranquility is a 1 bedroom cottage with all of the comforts of home. The kitchen is fully stocked including non-pershible food items left behind by former guests. We were able to go to Faustos grocery just a few blocks away and stock our fridge for the week. We had pots/pans/dishes/silverware etc. available to use. The bedroom/bathroom area is plenty large for two and the decor is tropical without being over the top! The best was our own private patio. It was equipped with a table and chairs, two lounge chairs and a gas grill. You will get a little noise at night from the Duval Street revelers walking by, but nothing that should affect your stay. The compound also has it's own pool, which we used just about every day. I would not hesitate to stay at this location again in the future. It was amazing!

Tranquility..... Just What We Needed!

We loved our stay on Ann St. The location is so perfect to walk where ever you want to go. We loved our private patio area and enjoyed grilling out a couple of nights- cooking the fish we caught on our fishing trip!It is perfect for a couple who want time alone, but enjoy getting out to enjoy all that Key West has to offer. The only negative, the bed is not too comfortable. Needs to be replaced.We cant wait to return!
