Contestants test their Conch blowing prowess by creating music with a conch shell. Free and open to all ages, the annual Conch Blowing contest is a Key West tradition that spans over 60 years.

There’s a party every night of the year here in Key West and during spring break it’s especially lively on Duval Street and Mallory Square. Street performers are out and it’s easy to find live music and dancing at Key West’s many bars. Unlike other spring break destinations, Key West is not overrun with college kids. In March, anglers participate in the March Merkin Invitational Permit Tournament, a charity flats-and-fly-only tournament, held at the Key West Yacht Harbor Marina on Stock Island.
