The interior is professionally decorated with many antiques and objects of interest from around the world. The living room is appointed with very comfortable furniture and vaulted ceilings opening to a loft bedroom above the kitchen. A Bose surround stereo will keep you entertained with your favorite music or a good movie. A professional kitchen is outfitted with a 6 burner Wolf range, SubZero refrigeration, dishwasher and microwave, along with fine cabinetry with a French country flare. There is a separate (covered) outdoor entertaining/dining area complete with large flat screen television, DVD, and stereo as well as a wet bar & fridge. This room bridges the interior from the wonderful exterior wood deck. Lounge on the deck surounded by tropical vegetation or jump in the beautiful pool (heated) with waterfall. The rear garden (as well as the entire property) is beautifully lit in the evening for relaxing by the pool. The bedrooms are nicely appointed with spa-like bathrooms (each ensuite) featuring floor to ceiling stone, and beautiful fixtures. This home exceeds ANY 5 star resort that the owners have ever had the opportunity to experience. Villa Martinique has a an off-"lane" bricked parking space to complement the beautiful house. very nicely appointed and convenient to all. The only recommendation is that since the pool cools off so quickly and is so small, it seemed inefficient to keep heating it up; A hot tub would have been a great addition.
This place exceeded my expectations. Everything about the place has been well planned and furnished. I had the time of my life and my guests all enjoyed the pool and outdoor living area for relaxation and gathering together. Location is exceptional within walking distance to everything. Joyce at the agency is responsive and professional in all regards. Minor issues were incurred (propane supply ran out, smoke alarm batteries went dead and started chirping, outdoor cable box was bad) but agency got issues resolved. I would stay here again.
