Just off Truman Avenue in Old Town, this newer two-story conch house sits at the end of a brick walk in a small compound of homes called Truman Gardens. This location is an easy stroll to Duval Street or a quick stroll 4 blocks north to White St, where you’ll find the convenience of a grocery store, a gym, a yoga studio, and more!
As you enter the house to the open living room & dining area, your attention is drawn out the French doors to the pool and deck area surrounded by tropical plantings. Inside the high ceilings, crown moldings and wainscotting make the home inviting. A beautiful new kitchen with stainless steel appliances & granite countertops will make any cook want to stay home, rather than dining out at any of our incredible Key West restaurants nearby.
Upstairs are the two bedrooms, both with bath ensuites. The master bedroom has a queen bed and double closets. The second bedroom is a large room with two twin beds. Each bath has a double vanity to give a "master feel" to both. The stacking washer/dryer is also on the second floor.
There are tile floors downstairs and hardwood upstairs. There is one off street parking. Hi speed internet provided.
The day I arrived, there was no hot water. With no hot water I had to shower with cold water that evening and the nest morning, since I arrived on a Sunday. Then the toilet wouldn't flush. After using plunger three days in a row, whatever was plugging it finally broke loose. I never had any more problems after that. When I did have a problem other than that it was taken care of in a timely Manner. Over all The rental was a nice place. I would suggest that the squeege stuck to the shower door should be moved over a little, to allow the shower door to swing both ways as it was designed to do. the way it is positioned now, it puts the squeege in a bind when the door is swung inward.
