Walk the historic streets of Key West, live in Old Town in a quiet residential neighborhood. Just two blocks from Duval Street, it is a quick walk or bike ride to all of Key West's attractions, including it's close proximity to the Historic Seaport area. This is an lovingly restored eyebrow 3 bedroom house and is listed on the Key West's Historic House Registry. The house has one bedroom on ground floor with queen bed and full bath, upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and the other with twin beds. The large pool and heated Jacuzzi with waterfall enhance your island experience, the ambient background sound of falling water and the neighboring tropical birds at Nancy' Secret Garden make this a delightful island getaway. A large deck surrounding the pool has outdoor dining table, lounges and seating area conveniently located just outside the French doors leading to a dining room and open kitchen. This was the second year we rented this house for the month of October. We head up a krewe that puts a float in the Fantasy Fest parade. We also sponsor and co-sponsor several events during Fantasy Fest week. including the Pirate and Plaid parties at Capt. Tony's. We need a house that will accomodate three couples easily and is within the lower end of Old Town. In addition to filling these needs, the house is well-maintained and nicely decorated. The landscaping is beautiful and extensive. It is easy to tell the owners take a lot of pride in the house and grounds. Our experience with the management company has been very positive. On the very minor maintenance issues we found, the company responded quickly to fix the issues, even though there was no emergency. All our communications with the company have been handled professionally, yet friendly. The only thing we could give less than a completely positive rating would be the couch in the living room. While it is fully functional, we find it to be moderately uncomfortable. However, we do not go to Key West to set around and watch TV, so this is not a problem for us. We highly recommend this property and will continue renting it during our trips as long as it is available.
We had an absolutely delightful time! We have been renting homes in the Keys for years and found this to be our best experience yet. The folks at Rent Key West were so helpful - really stayed on top of everything and went out of their way to accomodate our schedule on check in and check out. The house was absolutely lovely and clearly well cared for. We liked it so much, we are coming back for another month!
