This is a fabulous property, we just wanted to move in. Great decorating, very comfortable, many places to sit, relax or hide. The kitchen, dining area and outside covered living area and pool is where we lived. The cottage is equipped for everything you need and we ate many meals in and always gathered in the kitchen or by the pool. Very quiet area but close to everything and a half block from Duval. Very, very clean! We even enjoyed sitting on the front porch. The perfect cottage!

This property was everything we expected based on the description, and more. Incredibly clean with all the comforts of home. Great beds, pillows and linens. The pool and yard was fantastic. The location is just far enough away from the busy north end of Duval and yet perfectly close to the ocean on South Beach. Our only comment would be the rather loud pool pump that runs 24 hours a day that is located right outside the bedroom windows in the back of the house. It might be an idea to put the pump on a timer so it shuts off at night. But after the first few nights, we did not even hear it. We had a fantastic time and if we return would most certainly stay in Casa de Cuba.

Awesome place..Better than expected. Location was great. Parking is a bonus. Perfect place for two couples with lots of privacy and room. Third bedroom not even used. Way comfy covered porch was used alot also pool was clean and convenient for cooling off after daily excursions. Stayed in Key West several times and this was a week to celebrate a friend's 60th. We wanted something upscale and memorable and it was. Will definitely return!!!

Casa de Cuba was truly paradise. Location was great, right off Duval Street. Check in and out was simple. Lots of amenities, that were unexpected. We are looking forward to our next stay there.

We love this house but if we don't have someone with us can't afford it every time we come. It's, by far, the nicest of the three places we have rented from you. We love having a private pool when we rent in Key West. If you ever run weeks at special rates we would definitely be interested.

There were four of us for a week; my wife and I, Mother in-law and 1 year old and the house was plenty big enough. Everyone had their own space when needed. The house was exactly as advertised; the pictures are very accurate which is fantastic. Kitchen is well appointed as are the bathrooms. The house is half a block off of Duval at the Southern end of the street which is fantastic if you have kids; it is a bit quieter but still close to the action. This house would be great for three couples as well; would definitely rent this property again.

I have been to Key West many times in the past and stayed at hotels, resorts and other houses and this was by far the best! The house is tastfully appointed with all the things you need to make you feel at home. The owners of this house take great prind in this house and it shows. The rental company Rent Key West was also very accomodating and helpful from reservation to check out.

The house was beautifully decorated and clean. Small heated pool was wonderful day or night. Location one block off Duval could not have been better. Would definitely rent again! Staff of Rent Key West very helpful with an unexpected business transaction requiring numerous faxes.

I cannot say enough positive things about the Casa de Cuba. We usually stay at The Mermaid and alligator (which we love), but wanted to stay a week in Key West in a house this trip. The house was beautiful - what my dream house would be! Its very spacious and decorated beautifully. From the front porch to the swimming pool, I loved it all. We loved the house so much we spent more time "in" than out in KW. The kitchen was well stocked and we ate most of our breakfasts and lunches there. We also cooked one big dinner and had everything we needed, including a grill. I could not get over how well stocked the kitchen was. Lots of kitchenware is provided, and previous guests left lots of "donations" such as tea bags, cooking oil, spices, etc. We loved sitting around the big kitchen table and spent a lot of time there. I loved the pool area and spent several afternoons lounging out there. The backyard is well shaded so it was very comfortable, even in the heat of the day. We did go with the heat for the pool, which was perfect - we swam every day and at night and were comfortable in the water. The house has a washer and drier, which was really handy with all the swimming, running and clothes changing we did. Paul and Dean went out of their way to stash our suitcases on our check out day while we enjoyed our final hours in Key West. Finally, the location was great. Just off the quiet end of Duval, the house was convenient to everything. We love Banana Cafe (ate there 4 times) and it is very close. Blue Heaven is another favorite and a quick walk. Seven Fish is close too. I especially liked being in a "neighborhood" and pretending that I lived there (I wish!). I know I am leaving something out, but I assure you, you will love Casa de Cuba! It was a "splurge" for us to spend a week there, so I'm not sure we will be able to do it again anytime soon. Hopefully for another big celebration we will be able to come back.

We really had some wonderful days in this lovely house. We felt ourselves like being at home. We didn't miss anything. There was even no problem with parking the car in the carport. And we didn't need the car the whole stay. We rent some bikes and enjoyed Key West downtown. A great place to stay!

This house was perfect for six friends. Close to shopping, restaurants, bars and entertainment, as well as the Southernmost point and beaches. Beautifully decorated and well appointed, we were able to soak in the pool during the heat of the day, cook fabulous group dinners on the grill and enjoy at the huge farm style dining table, and enjoy individual outings without having to drive somewhere with everyone.

This is a lovely, well-maintained and well-decorated home in a great location. It's worth every penny and has just about everything you'd want in a home in Key West. Many thanks for a fantastic stay.

Casa de Cuba is in an absolutely perfect location, centrally located and just off Duval St. The rooms are spacious and wonderfully decorated. The beds are extremely comfortable. This was my 12th trip to KW and I would most definitely stay here again.

This is a very nice, well appointed house with a cool little pool and good outdoor spaces for lounging. The inside is a bit dark, fine in hot weather but not so much when it's cloudy. The kitchen was really well supplied. The only negative was the location, a bit too close to the action. It was quieter than we might have expected but still pretty close to cars and noise.

My family and I- 5 adults and 1 2 year old just returned from a week in Casa de Cuba. What a breath of fresh air! Everyting in the house is gorgeous and there was plenty of room for us all to move around comfotably. The covered alcove by the pool was our favority spot to relax, take a nap and have cocktails. The location can't be beat right off Duval but still quiet. I would recommend this house to anyone, you will enjoy every minute.

It was an historically cold week in florida but we enjoyed every minute of our trip. One of the reasons was our "home away from home" at Casa de Cuba. It was lovely; decorated with loving care, soothing private outdoor space, great location and convenient for parking, walking to fabulous restaurants, etc. I would love to return! Our only complaint, and this is so small, is we would have liked more supplies on hand (paper towels and toilet paper) and the last day we did notice tiny ants in the pantry. But it did not in any way spoil our 4 star vacation. Thank you. A special thanks to Joyce who was particularly kind and accessible.

The house was perfect. The process to check in was quick and effortless, thanks to the friendly and professional ladies and gentlemen at the office. Casa de cuba is a perfect home for our family of 8. it was large enough for everyone to have their space, and be comfortable. The pool is a must, and was great! The house is well decorated, and has all the necessities, to entertain, cook, lounge, and sleep. The only down side to the property is, it is a bit of a hike (walking) to the end of Duval where the action is. I would advise renting scooters, or one of those goofy 6 person golf carts. I am thrilled to write a review on this home. We visited Key West with another couple and it was our first trip to the Keys so we were not sure what to expect. Everything about the house, including the location, was absolutely fabulous! We were pleasantly surprised to find that the liquor cabinet was fully stocked by previous guests as well as all the other kitchen cabinets! The house is overflowing with charm and the back of the home is a paradise with a wonderful pool and comfortable area to relax and unwind. I would highly recommend this home and will definitely stay again if we ever visit Key West!

This is a great house in a great location and we enjoyed it very much. As a couple with the occasional houseguest it was exactly the right size for us. For those looking at the house, the things I'd highlight are that (a) it is very nicely decorated inside; (b) it is unlike most rentals that are stripped of the anything but the basics in terms of plates, utensils, appliances, etc. It was a very pleasant surprise to find a kitchen stocked with paper towels, detergent, applicances and many of the things we had at home; (c) the pool is a bit small but was perfect for us (1 couple); (d) when we had an issue, then rental agent had someone over to try and fix it quite promptly. The house had two minor issues that made it difficult to sleep at times - a toilet that flushed itself every hour or so and a noisey ceiling fan. I am sure the management has already fixed both of these.

My wife and I stayed at Casa De Cuba during the heat of summer. The location was terrific- a half block to upper Duval. The house was beautiful inside. The Dade County pine wooden floors were gorgeous. The bedrooms were lovely; the kitchen was large and bright. It was clear that much care went into the decorating of the house. We loved the big farm table looking out at the pool. The pool was a cool haven after walking around in the heat. As the weekend progressed we learned a hurricane was headed for the Keys, but we were able to finish our stay as evacuation orders came out. We would go back in a heartbeat!

This is the 2nd time my family has stayed in Casa de Cuba. The 2nd time we rented my family stayed there for my wedding on the beach. The house is gorgeous and served as the location for my wedding pictures. The pool is great and the location is perfect for walking into town or the beach! Love this house!!!!

The whole time we were in Casa de Cuba I was trying to figure out how I could own a home just like it. It is beautiful and so practical. All the comforts of home and then some. The decor is absolutely beautiful and in the tropical Key West style. I wanted to buy the kitchen table. I wish I could find one just like it. Don't think twice about this rental, you will be totally satisfied. Location, location, location to top it off.

We can not say enough great things about our week long stay at Casa De Cuba! There were six of us who all flew in from all over to meet up in the Keys for my husband's surprise 30th birthday celebration. No expense was spared in the decor and ammenities of the home. The outdoor sunroom was very relaxing as was the front poor swing. The location was absolutely perfect as we spent the entire week walking up and down Duval street. The pool was a "must" after the hot Florida sun! Everything that we needed could be found- from a basket full of beach towels, to a bucket of sunscreens, a cabinet full of alcohol (the honor system of course), games, books, pool floats,detergents, etc. The home was very clean and cozy and is certainly a home that we hope to return to on our next trip to Key West!!! We hope you enjoy it as much as we all did!
