On entering Ocean Vista, you are instantly struck by the magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean and drawn out to your private balcony where you can relax and relish in your beachfront vacation. This appealing, two bedroom, two bathroom condo has been lovingly decorated. A large wall mirror is positioned to enhance the floral colors and handsome rattan furniture and the open design of the living/dining area adds to the relaxing and airy atmosphere. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped, has ample cupboard space, double sink and a pretty dinette for two. After cooking delectable meals in your kitchen, enjoy good food and great conversation at your glass topped rattan dining table for four.
Adorned in charming floral prints and light wood, the Master Bedroom, with a King Bed, offers peace and tranquility. There is an individual door to the private balcony, perfect to catch an early morning Sunrise, and the double windows facing out to ocean offer a breathtaking view. The Master Bathroom has an individual vanity area with stocked linen closet. The second bedroom, delightful in its beachy motif, features two twin beds and a nice sized closet.

La Brisa captures a feel for island life, the way the locals live it, away from the clamor of down town. Quiet moonlit walks on the beach, a morning café con leche from a local vendor and a beach sunrise make for an unforgettable vacation. And while you are tucked away from the hubbub, you are not far away. There is a bike trail that leads you along the Atlantic Ocean, past many Key West sights, into the down town area. The White Street Art district is just a pleasant bike ride away, as are a myriad of fabulous Key West restaurants. While savoring the distinctive essence of La Brisa, take in the ocean, the Key West weather and when you see the bright red WWII Bi-Plane fly overhead on one of its daily excursions from our small airport, ask yourself, Why Not?
The view was ok, and access to the beach was appreciated - after-hours checking in was a bit of a hassle, to go into town to get the key, then back to the condo, then return a day later for more check-in. The furnishings were just not comfortable. Because of the weather, we stayed in more than we normally might have, and the couch, chairs, etc. were worn and uncomfortable. Nice walk-in closet. Only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. I don't know if we would return to Key West, but if we did, we would probably try something else.
It was a real pleasure going thru the booking process( thanks Laura), and the condo was more that we expected- a great condo with lots of room . The view from the balcony was amazing, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our Christmas there. The Grill area was nice with clean grills, but the swamp area behind it was a bit smelly.
We arrived from Miami one night earlier than planned, which was no problem. Very fast, friendly and professional response. Keys were in the dropbox, you can basically check in any time you like. Great service! The apartment was great too! Big clean rooms, nice kitchen, airco, living room and an awesome view of Smather's beach. Be aware that Smather's is not the best beach around for those who like to get into the water. Lots of green in there. Not everyone likes this, unless you're a snorkel enthousiast like me. The price for the apartment was reasonable, split it by four or five and you really dont pay that much a person. It's cheaper than a hotel and you have more luxury on your hands. Before booking this I read about the traffic noise...it did not bother me at all! It was actually very quiet. It's a quiet block of apartments anyways, so don't expect many young people partying. However if you want to go out, it's only a 10 to 15 minute bike ride to Duval. I'm sure to go there again..and when I do I know where to book my apartment. rgds, Marcel from 'rainy and cold' Holland
We have stayed many times at La Brisa and this unit was clean and keep up but needed upgrading. The original decorations and furniture from construction was still there. It is a lovey place, great views, easy to get around Key West from this location. Not as busy as downtown.
We loved the apartment although there was some work going on which was quite noisy during day. Only downside, it is quite a walk to historic old town. We had bikes so good for us. Would definitely book this apartment again.
We are very happy that these guests will visit us again! The work they mentioned in the comment was just the temporary paving of the parking lot. Oldtown is just a short 2 miles away so someone will need a car or bike if they wanted to get into town quckly. Smather's Beach, one of our most popular beaches, is just across the street.
From the 4th floor, the view of the ocean and all the beach activity is great. This unit was secure, well supplied, had a very comfortable bed, updated plumbing and appliances. The decor is a bit outdated but comfortable furnishings. The edges of the rooms need cleaning and the door lock needs to be replaced. The main problem with this unit is the road noise 24/7--we'd hoped to leave the windows open but couldn't..
Steve Ruh and the staff at Rent Key West Vacations were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them and plan to use them when we return to Key West. The property was exactly as depicted in pictures and the ad.
My family stayed at La Brisa #403E for a week in July, 2008. When I return to Key West I will rent this condo again! The views of the Atlantic are beautiful. We would sit on the deck and watch the cruise ships come in and out and just relax to the sound of the ocean. Thank you RentKW Vacations for a fantastic vacation!
