We loved this place. The location is perfect! We love our private sitting area and the pool was perfect. We rarely even saw anyone out at the pool while we were there, so it was like having our own private pool.

This is the first time my husband and I have been to Key West and this was the perfect spot to stay. It was just the right size for a romantic getaway. Even though we were only a block off of Duval Street and we could walk everywhere, we felt like we were in our own private "hideaway". We would definitely rent Bali Hideaway again when we come back.

The pictures on the website of this Bali Hideaway rental were quite obviously taken some years ago when it was newly renovated and better cleaned. My husband and I both noticed that our feet were dirty after a short time walking on the floors, the bathroom smelled -- something wrong with the toilet, the locks were all in need of repair or replacement, the grounds were in need of tlc as well as the pool. We loved the location and amenities (washer/dryer, kitchenette - well equipped, private patio). We had a great time and feel it a shame that such a nice little place was slighted by lack of attention. We would hesitate to recommend to others without being sure that it was given a good cleaning and repair.

Perfect for what we were asking for in a rental. Close to Duval and all the shopping and restuants. Rode Bikes and walked everywhere. Enough space for the two of us. Gardens were beautiful and the neighbor was an precious lady. Thanks for the rental.

We stayed at Bali Hideaway for our honeymoon and it was the perfect little escape. The location was perfect - within walking distance of the main drag and Sunset Pier. We rented bikes and easily biked around the island and to the beach. No car needed. The house has everything we needed, including a fully-equipped kitchen which made our meal costs more reasonable and a gorgeous shower. Everything was new and well-kept. We didn't see anyone else in the compound our whole stay there - it was very private. Wifi made rainy days manageable and the comfy bed was great. The door lock put up a bit of a fight for us but once we figured it out, we were fine. We had called the office when we couldn't get it to lock and someone came within 20 minutes. Other than that, we had no contact with the management - they left us alone to enjoy the vacation! Small place but perfect for the two of us.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Was close to everything and was able to walk to the places we wanted to go. Only problem we had was with bugs. Don't know if it was because of the weather conditions at the time or not. Would stay there again if we make another trip to Key West.

Loved this place! Pictures make it look like its more than one room, but it is still super nice! We got married and stayed in key west for the honeymoon and this was the perfect place to stay. We were one block off Duval (right behind sloppy Joes) and loved being able to walk where ever we needed. Only a couple of nights we could hear the music from Sloppy Joes, but it was very faint and did not keep us awake. I highly recommend staying in any of these Cottages on ann Street.

A cozy spot for two. Updated and modern decor inside and a tropical garden outside. Although this bungalow is right off Duval and all the great nightlife of Key West, it is very quiet here, both inside and out. Inside has TV (didnt even turn it on!) and a stereo we used to set the tropical mood with a local station. A little library of books is available, as is a Wi-Fi connection if a Kindle or laptop is more your style. Outside the apartment and private patio there is access to a nice pool and a common garden area shared by the other guests on the property. We saw the occasional person, but felt very much like we were all alone. Very peaceful and relaxing week spent there. Good value, nicely appointed, and central location make this an ideal romantic vacation getaway. Nearby we booked a sunset wine/cheese sail and a full-day sail with "Danger" charters. They were a class act and perfect for a couple spending a romantic week together. Eaton Bicycles is two blocks away. Great service and prices. Park the car, leave it for the week. Everything you need is a short bicycle-ride away.

This was truly a quiet secluded spot close to the chaos of the action of Duval street. The room was clean an cozy. The patio was quiet and private and the Gardens surrounding the studio are amazing. I rhink the patio area was my favorite part...perdext for lounging with a book The cons? Well, locking the door was always a hassle for us and we spent about ten minutes trying to figure it out each time we left the studio. The lock was difficult to manipulate and was irritating. On our second day there someone threw up poolside and it was not cleaned up the entire length of our trip and was rather nasty. The service was non existent. Once we had the key we were on our own. You will have to wash your own linen throughout your stay and you are not checked on throughout your stay to ensure you are comfortable or have any questions or issues.

The place was really nice and clean. The bathroom has recent updates - large tile shower, great water pressure, nice fixtures. We enjoyed the privacy on the patio. Incredible location! The location is perfect for two people to get away but still be close to everything. The kitchen was small but very useful. We checked out and were able to store our luggage at the rental agency free of charge until we headed to the airport. Great service!!

Very Nice Room. Quite place in the heart of the action in Key West. Only a minutes walk to Duval Street. Only drawback was a lack of drawer space...but that is easy to forgive. Ps - Make sure you find out about parking prior to heading down. The Lot behind the property will cut you a deal, but it is still a bit pricey.

We (husband and I)recently rented the Bali Hideaway for a week thru Rent Key West. The location is one of the best features of this rental. It is furnished beautifully and the space is used wisely. It is on the cozy side, but never felt cramped. The kitchen is great size and all essentials furnished. The outside patio is large and private. Bathroom features a nice size walk in shower, and nice closet. While I do not mind doing a load of towels, I really would have appreciated more than 4. They also need to upgrade the tv to a nice flat screen!!! The grounds are beautiful and lush. Maybe too lush around the pool, since sunning was a challenge. We never did use the pool. It really needs a good clean up and the gardens cut back. All in all, we would definitely rent the unit again.

This was a very pleasant stay. It was in a good place, convenient and reasonably well-equipped. I had two complaints, both of which I could easily have fixed myself. The lights over the bed were not bright enough for reading comfortably. The television received only CNN which could easily be called TV Lite, except when you compare it with other television. Locking the door was difficult to learn but I got it after a few days. I didn't find the notebook with orientation to the place until the last couple of days. It might be left out in an obvious place (rather than the bookcase on the far side of the bed). I rather had to bully (gently) the woman on the last day who wanted me to leave the keys at the office. (I later found that doing this would have doubled the cab fare to the airport.) She picked up the key. I would not return only because I didn't appreciate the "party" atmosphere in Key West. The amount of drinking was pretty stunning (and I live 15 miles from Provincetown which is much less rowdy-it's all the straight people in KW who are noisy, I think.) the noisiness didn't affect the rental.

Location, location, location! This place is perfect. It is a "Hideaway" in the middle of everything. Very private and just around the corner from busy Duval St. We walked everywhere. Also a great grocery store near by with wonderful meals that change each day. We had breakfast & dinner on our private patio. Looking forward to going back.

Service provided by Rent Key West Vacations was, after some difficulties in the beginning, really professional and very friendly. The rental itself was wonderfully decorated and clean. The garden sourrounding it was lush what is on the one hand side perfect if you love it shodowy but on the other hand side we felt a bit uncomfortable after 8 days staying there as there was also not very much sun at the pool. Maybe this was because we rented at the wrong time (December). The owner Doreen (living next door) is a wonderful lady and we enjoyed talking to her as she is always keen that you feel comfortable. All in all we would not rent this unit once again because of the missing light and sun and the not very inviting pool area but we will definitely rent at KW Vacations Rentals again. Btw: Someone did complain about the not fixed bedframe at the head end. This is indeed a fact but you can easily fix it with a pillow and have no worries anymore. ;-)

Ideal location. Walk 2 blocks to Duval, 1 block to bike rentals, 1/2 block to the worlds best Key Lime Pie! Close to all the action and music on Duval but sitting in our private courtyard in the evening we couldn't hear a sound! The little bungalow was perfect for a couple. Very clean, very comfortable and nice amenities. Thank you for that high speed internet. We were able to say connected while we dis-connected from the real world :-) My husband and i were celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time in Key West and would definately stay at the Bali Hideaway property again.

We had a wonderful time at the Bali Hideaway. The property was very private,comfortable and relaxing. We loved the decor. We really enjoyed relaxing by the pool, which we had all to ourselves each time we decided to use it. The location was so convenient to all of our favorite KW activities, but by the end of the night it was so nice to have the peace and quiet at the Bali Hideaway. Everyone at rent key west was very nice and we will definitely return!

The location of bali hideaway is perfect. we literally parked the car and didn't move it for a week. the room was the perfect size for a couple, with a great patio and pool on the compound. not even a minute walking in either direction are restaurants, bars, music... it was perfect for us. can't wait to go back.

We booked a week here for my wife's 50th birthday. This was our 4th visit to Key West, and quite likely the most relaxing vacation we've had in awhile. Location was quiet while only a 2 minute walk to Duval St and other hot spots. Extremely convenient getting to everywhere we wanted to visit. We rented a car and bicycles and had no issue with parking and storage. The pool, which we had mostly to ourselves, was a welcome break during the day. And the kitchen facilities were perfect for cooking up some local fish. Accomodations were smaller than expected based on web photos, and the kitchen sink faucet howled whenever we used it. Perhaps more towels would have been nice, though laundry facilities were close enough. Nevertheless, we plan on returning, hopefully within the next year or two. Of course, the week went by way too quickly as usual.

Very cozy! We stayed for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. It is a great location. Within walking distance to pretty much everything. Pool is nice and clean. The grounds stayed relatively quiet considering it is right by Duval.

My husband and I went to Key West to get married and enjoy an island honeymoon. Bali Hideaway was the perfect choice! The location was ideal, right around the corner from Duval St. behind Sloppy Joes and within walking distance to Old Town and the marina. Even though everything was so close it was still quiet at the cottage. While on our patio or in the cottage we could feel like we were the only 2 people on the island. The pool was refreshing and most days we could have had it to ourselves. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need and a grocery store is around the corner. If you can find a parking space on the street (we got lucky) park and leave it for your stay, you don't need a car. We can't wait to go back!

We just happened to find Bali Hideaway while searching for a hotel room in Key West. I'm glad I clicked on an obscure link and ran across Bali Hideaway. The location was perfect. Half block from Duval Street & 2 blocks from the ocean or gulf, take your pick. Almost everything was in walking distance, and I have a back problem so this was the best location in all of Key West. The pool was perfect. There was never anyone else there at the same time we decided to unwind after a hard day of shopping. The water was clean and very warm, no shock when you got in. The patio was perfect. Completely enclosed for privacy and well equipped for lounging. The WiFi reached out there very well and since I smoke, I spent my computer time outside - with plenty of bug spray. You could hear some music from the bars, but not enough to detract from the beautiful grounds. The planting, both in the patio and outside in the "compound" was breathtaking. The owner did an excellent job with a variety of interesting plants to watch daily as they bloomed. Inside was small, but more than adequate for 2 people. The kitchen included a frig, stove (electric), & microwave. All worked fine. The bath was very nice, all tile. There isn't a tub, but we didn't miss it with the walk-in shower. A large full length mirror hid additional storage space. The main area included a full size bed and chairs. Decorating was very pleasing with sort of an island motif. Plenty of electrical outlets were available. All the lights (and the fan) are on dimmers so you can use them at night lights if needed or full on for general lighting. Oh, there is a TV, but I turned it on to make sure it worked, then promptly shut it off. Who needs TV in Key West, except for the weather report - which was always a low of 82 and a high of 89. Everyday we were there. Perfect. Overall, we found Bali Hideaway to be the perfect place to stay in Key West. We are looking forward to our return.

This was a lovely hideaway, close to everything, yet quiet. Our hostess, Doreen (sp?) was a delight. We loved the private patio we had, the pool was almost totally ours to use, and the flowers were beautiful.

My husband and I really loved this property and if we ever go back to Key West we will definitely stay here! It is in a great location (one block from Duval) and is unbelievably quiet at night despite the bands and number of people out at all times partying. It is a beautiful well-maintained property. My only complaint is for a week long stay it would have been nice to have a mid-week cleanup to have the sheets changed and fresh towels (there is a washer/dryer on the property but who wants to stop and do laundry on vacation). Other than that, it was perfect for us!

Wonderful surroundings, very nice accomdations, serene environment, comfortable bed and clean cottage including small kitchen area, which was sufficient. We will recommend Bali Hideaway to anyone who wants to be close to Duvall St., yet experience a quiet atmoshpere upon returning. We enjoyed the private courtyard. My only complaint was that I was bitten by mosquitoes many nights. However, my husband never received one bite!

We loved staying at Bali Hideaway. It is secluded, quiet, romantic, and only a block from Duval. It was like having are own private island. There are a couple other rentals tucked away there, but we hardly ever saw anyone, and we had the pool to ourselves several times. Rent KW was very helpful, check in was a snap, and they provided us with information on what to do and where to obtain things. We rented bicycles which was perfect, and we locked them inside on our patio. The only recommendations for changes that I would make are to deal with the squeaky bed and the somewhat moving headboard. We found it challenging to have to wash the towels, because of the wait for the washer and dryer. We only used 2 towels each for the whole week, and it would be nice if we didn't have to wash them. Having a kitchen is great. We saved a lot by eating breakfast at home, and sometimes lunch and dinner. That way we could splurge on eating out when we did. I would highly recommend this place! We had a wonderful stay.

We couldn't have been more pleased with the Bali Hideaway!! It's even prettier in person, than it is in the website photos! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous!! and there's a friendly little kitty that came around to say hello every now & again!! The pool was great & more often than not, we had it to ourselves. I had never been to Key West but, my husband had been & we were very happy to enjoy a bit of old town key west as opposed to the resort types of places. The location is perfect, we had a motorcycle but, only really needed it a few times(to make grocery store runs & a few beach runs)otherwise everything you want/need is within walking distance!! We would most definitely stay here again!!!

We were looking for a 'non hotel' type vacation stay in Key West; we found it with the Bali Hideaway studio. The perfect location 1 block from Duval street in the heart of the Old Port section suited our needs. Although the very busy Duval is only a short hop away; the vegetation covering the property does its double duty as insulating us from the noise. We enjoy the shared swimming pool and on most days are the only guests using the area. Everyone seems to be on different schedules; leaving you with the impression that you have a private pool area. Due to the excellant location we are able to move about without a car taking advantage of walking and biking. Most of the water trips leave from the port 5 mins from our front step. This year was our 3rd stay at the studio and have come to consider it our Spring destination for a week every May.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary on our visit to Key West. The room, patio, pool, and grounds were just as beautiful as the photos. Linens are high quality and the bed is very comfortable. There is a full, but very small, kitchen, but no dishwasher. The office staff were very helpful and everything went smoothly. This is a very quiet and peaceful place and not suitable for loud parties. There's plenty of that on Duval St, a block away. No need for a car -- two grocery stores were about 4 blocks away, several museums and waterfront within a few blocks, many restaurants within walking distance. Beaches, however, are not within easy walking distance. My only suggestion for the rental office is to please put instructions on the air conditioner remote...we kept getting it stuck on some kind of timer where it would shut off at random.

The Bali Hideaway is truly hidden away! The accommodations are just right for 2 people. I really like the layout of the bathroom and the kitchen. The private patio and the pool are so relaxing. The grounds are exceptionally beautiful and peaceful. The location is perfect. Most everything that I wanted to see and do was within walking distance.

We stayed at the Bali Hideaway for one week in March and had a wonderful time. The studio apartment and grounds are lovely. The studio has everything you would need, even a washer and dryer on site. The location was perfect, you're so close to everything, seaport, Duval Street, etc. yet the location was very quietand very private. You have the best of both worlds. We have stayed at other very nice locations, but we both agree this is definitely the best. We're looking for to returning next year.

We fell in love in Bali Hideaway. We could't have asked for a nicer place on the island. The locations was perfect. We would definitly book it again.

There is really no bad word I can say about this place or the service. Beautiful studio cottage with patio and amazing tropical garden and a pool close to the house. Perfect for a couple to sent a romantic time away from home. Great location, in the heart of Key West! I and my husband enjoyed our stay very much and we will definitely come back to spent a vacation at Bali Hideaway again.

My husband and I stayed at the Bail Hideaway for our honeymoon. We loved how quaint the suite was and how the architectural layout maximized the small space . The bathroom and kitchen were newly updated and nicer than my own home. The kitchen area was the perfect size to prepare meals during our 9 day stay. We also enjoyed having a refrigerator that was large enough to hold a week worth of snacks and drinks. Our favorite spot was the private courtyard with the screened lounger. We spent hours laying around reading and relaxing in the quiet shaded courtyard. We were pleasantly surprised by the quietness of the complex and yet you are steps away from all the action on Duval Street, Front Street and the wharf. The only drawback of the location would be parking, it is all off street parking and spots are hard to come by. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended the location to friends and family. If you are looking for the quintessential Key West vacation this is the ideal location.

Trying to decide on the "perfect place" to stay while vacationing in Key West, over the internet, was something we researched for weeks, before deciding. We could not have chosen a better place. From the cottage, to the private courtyard, to the beautiful gardens surrounding it all, the pool and especially Miss Doreen - it was as close to perfect as it could be. We plan on returning for many years to come. The location was as perfect as the hideaway. And a hideaway it was. You would never believe that such a perfect, peaceful place was behind that lush tropical piece of paradise behind that white picket fence. And the icing on the cake were the little visits with Miss Doreen. Her smiling face, voice and being - reminded us that the world does keep spinning, but taking time to getaway and relax, making memories, is one of the most important things in life.

We spent a wonderful week in the Bali cottage and had a fantastic time in Key West. The cottage was great and in the best location,the only draw back was the lack of parking. But I would still say we would love to go back again and again. we hope your visit will be as much fun as ours was.

We loved our week in the Bali Hideaway. The studio accommodation was comfortable, well equipped and very stylish in a relaxed way. The bed was very comfortable. There were two or three other cottages set in a beautiful jungly garden with a lovely shared pool, which we had to ourselves most of the time. There was a private patio with lovely swing seat and table and chairs for eating. The location is perfect, being just far away from the noise and chaos of Duval, but near enough to be within easy reach of its facilities. The service we received from Rent Key West Vacations was friendly and very efficient. It was a bit of a hassle at the end of our stay to have to return the key to their office which was the other end of town (we had no car). It was probably the nicest accommodation of our two month trip to S. Florida.

I can't say e nough about how perfect this place was. It was close to everything and yet still felt like our own little private getaway. I will be back.

The Bali Hideaway was perfect for my husband and I. We got married on the beach in Key West and stayed in the hideaway for a week. Very cute and quant. Perfect location for walking to all the area bars and shops. Nice grounds with pool. Plus we loved the local kitties that stopped by to say hello!

Been coming to KW for years. Never could find somewhere that we could call "home". We found "home" at the Bail Hideaway. We love it here. 2nd year staying here. Close enough to everything, but on the same sense...secluded. One block off of Duval. Right behind Sloppy Joes, but couldn't hear a thing. Very clean,comfortable and quiet. Will be back next year!!! You don't know your only a block off the "main drag". No noise; serene and absolutely beautiful grounds made our stay better than a condo I rented a couple of years before. Absolutely loved the place!!
