My new husband and I selected ann Street Tranquility for our honeymoon and we could not have been more happy with our choice!Everything about ann Street Tranquility was amazing. We rented a car in Miami in drove to Key West. We had no trouble finding the rental office. Steve there with Rent Key West was great. He gave us everything needed to make our stay in Key West perfect including maps, coupons, resturant and excursion suggestions. We went to the cottage and left our car on the street long enough to take our bags in. Then we drove to the airport and returned the vehicle as we knew our location would not require us to have a car the rest of the week. A short cab ride had us back to Tranquility in about 10 minutes. The cottage itself is beautiful and perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway. The kitchen is well equipped..although I agree with one reviewer who commented on the dull knives. There was plenty of stuff left behind by previous renters (spices, cooking oils, wine, alcohol, etc.) We loved having the full kitchen to cook and keep our leftovers. There is a small grocery store called Faustos about two blocks away to stock up on groceries for the week. The overall decor of the cottage is charming and quaint. We loved the outdoor patio and spent alot of time out there enjoying a cocktail or glass of wine. The grounds of the property were so beautiful...and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. In fact, we did not see another soul on the grounds until our last evening there. We spent at least a little time most days at the pool and always had it to ourselves. There is a little noise in the mornings and occasionally at night from the Duval revlers. But that's what you get with a location near all the action. We didn't mind it. We felt this was a great value as well...a couple we met stayed at a B&B; 6 blocks up Duval for only about $100 less than this 1 bedroom cottage in a great location. So we will definitely be back to ann Street!

Location is magnificent, walking distance to all the great sites, each night we visited malory square and strolled on Duval Street in pure delight. Our cottage was just right for us, so beautifully decorated, so clean and nice. I even watercolored a view from the window while sitting at the dining table. Something I will always treasure. We were treated in great style by our Flip Key associate, Joyce. She is a great lady. We are looking forward to coming to ann Street again one day. Thank you

We loved our stay on ann St. The location is great- walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. It was quite peaceful considering it was just a block off Duval Street! We loved our private patio and enjoyed grilling out there a couple of nights- cooking the fish we caught on our fishing trip. It was like having our own apartment. Everything was perfect, except the bed. They need to get a new mattress! The booking agents are great to deal with. We did all our research on line to find the right place for us and it was just what we hoped for. Perfect for a couple who want alone time, but still want to get out and enjoy all that Key West has to offer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Key West with the help of ann Street Tranquility. We were able to lounge, stroll, cook, eat out, and do anything that we wanted to with ease. We never even had to move the car the whole time! The kitchen is furnished with enough items to cook with. The knives were very dull, so if you enjoy cooking, you may want to bring a few with you. Service was wonderful through the whole process - it was slightly difficult to find the place to check in, but that is Key West for you when driving around in a car. All staff interactions were very pleasant. Overall, a wonderful rental - clean, comfortable, easy access, walking distance to everything-worth every penny!

This property had all the conveniences of home although we needed to furnish some necessities such as toilet paper and paper towels. The location is convenient, close to Duval and we did not use our bikes or the car during our 1 week stay. Overall a good experience and we would likely rent this property again.

I recently stayed at the ann St Tranquility property and I would not refer anyone to this company. The house smelled of mold and both my husband and I had to make a visit to the hospital for emergeny breathing treatments. We have been sick for 2 weeks now because of the mold in this house! We visited the rental office and asked if someone could come by and check the air filters which never happened. We were not able to use the air conditioner the entire week we stayed without having coughing and sneezing attacks. We were so excited about out stay in Key West and the way things were handled for us was not at all to satisfaction. On the day we checked out we had the house keeping staff practically breaking down the door while I was trying to get our suitcases out and into the car. I was told I had 5 minutes to get out. Our rental was not ready at the time we requested to check in and we were not given the correct code to open the door but we were sure kicked out not a minute after the check out time! Again, just extremely disappointing.

This place was awesome! We went there for our honeymoon, and had a great time. It was a wonderful find! The patio was so cozy with a gas grill. The washer and dryer came in handy too! Go see Missy at tattoo's and scars right up the road, the coolest local hangout. Everything is so close and when you get back to the room you feel like it is miles away. So tranquil, and relaxing..will stay again in the near future.

This was our fifth trip to Key West, and second stay in this neighborhood. This place was perfect for the week...a grill to cook fresh fish, plenty of room to move, separate bedroom area, comfortable chairs, and an incredibly convenient, and quiet, location. The pool area is a great place to cool off, and is maintained nicely. I can only hope that it's available for our next journey to Key West.

Ann street tranquility was beautiful and accurately named tranquility. After a long day and night on the town, it was a comfortable retreat. Every amenity has been thought of and having a private washer/dryer was very convenient. The unit is large (by Key west standards) and the decor is beautiful. The pool and grounds are lush and private and the location can't be beat. We have stayed in many places in Key West, but this one tops the list.

Rent Key West made it very easy for key pick up and drop off. Ann Street Tranquility is a beautiful home and in a wonderful area. The location was great for walking to everything in the area and is also very quiet. Our stay was extended due to a hurricane and Rent Key West was very accommodating. We will definitely be staying at ann Street again.

We had such a wonderful time staying in this little cottage. We were celebrating our 4th anniversary and we couldn't have asked for a better place. Perfect walking distance to all the shopping and eating on Duval and yet still quiet enough at night. The pool was nice to have around to take a dip in in the afternoon. Every day we would get in the pool after a big heavy meal and "swim it off" and feel ready for another round of good food and drinks. The trees and plants around the pool are just beautiful, and geckos are everywhere! The house was so comfy and cozy and we decided that we want to decorate our home in a " beachy" theme. Everything was clean and it was great having a washer/dryer in the house. It's nice how people leave toiletries there for others to use ( body wash, shampoo/ conditioner/ lotion). The shower was beautiful and very big. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. We will totally recommend to toehrs and stay again.

Ann St Tranquility is a beautiful cottage within a compound close to all of our favorite places in the Seaport area. The cottage is decorated beautifully and the very private outdoor deck is perfect for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. The pool, although not heated was a bit chilly for our March stay but I'm sure it's perfectly refreshing in the summer. It is as lovely as it looks in the pictures! Parking is a challenge but we patiently waited a day or two til a spot opened nearby and there is certainly no need to a car since the cottage is so close to everything. Can't wait to return another trip!

cozy little guest house hidden in the most happening part of town. Loved the private pool.

This facility is outstanding -- as good as advertised. The small apartment was clean and well-furnished. And the private deck, while next to the sidewalk, truly is private with the fence and plants providing solitude. It's a great place for breakfast, reading and enjoying the evening air. The only problem is that my wife doesn't want anyone else to know about this, or it may not be available the next time we want to go :)

We just love our home away from home in ann Street Tranquility! This was our second stay. It is location, location, location! We are so close to everything, but feel nestled away in our own little world. It is so nice to have the conveniences of home...kitchen, washer/dryer/Internet service, etc. Only one suggestion...it is time to invest in new pillows and bedding. Pillows left much to be desired!! Other than that, it was wonderful!

We loved our little condo. The location couldn't have been any better. Walk to everything or to catch a bus or boat. We found ann Street to be fairly quiet. The condo is small but extremely functional. Who ever did the design made excellent use of the available space. The decorations and colors used are very soothing. The shower and bathroom were really nice. Having a washer/dryer right in the unit was priceless. We found the unit well stocked with everything from suntan lotion to gin! Look around in all closets or cupboards before buying anything. The pool area was nice but the pool was cold. Everything worked well with the exception of the hair dryer which was reported but not fixed. No big deal. If I had three wishes, replace the mattress and boxspring (hard and lumpy), please buy new bed pillows (flat and just bad), and get a Keurig K-Cup coffee maker. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Well you can't ask for a better location - you are just one block from the action and at the right end of Key West - so the location was perfect. It looks just like it shows in the pictures - the bathroom shower is great - plenty of hot water - kitchen if wonderful and the bedroom fine with a great bed and great outside area that is private - very nice for two people - just be aware that you are in the middle of an urban area so yes the garbage needs to be picked up and there is just a little noise from the street may twice in the one week - we thought the noice issue was nothing for us vs the location. Get one of the four free street parking spaces on ann Street as soon as you can - other will be watining for them - they are good in town - we parked in one spot for free for 7 days and no issue - now that is nice - the owners gave us good tip on that!! Only two issues - the pool was too cold - but we kind of knew that going in - but we found we could go to a number of hotels and buy lunch and use the pool - so that was okay. I would not count it a pool based unit - pool was a bit dirty and burrr - no sun lots of shade. My biggest problem was that NBC and all the NBC stations had no sound on the TV - so and games or new events or shows we like were unwatchable - we called the owners and they said they would work on it but never heard back - All and all the place is great and we loved the week in Key West. Be careful - we looked at a lot of places we were thinking of renting from other firms - the folks that have Tranquility do a very good job - there is a good chance in Key West of being stuck with a Dog - we met a lot of people who were - these folks are honest and provided a good value and great homes - unique to Key West from what we found

This was our second time staying at ann Street Tranquility and is still one of our favorite rentals. We love the location for ease of Duval Street access or hiding out in the compound relaxing. We love the decor and amenities like having our own washer/dryer is a great convenience.

Loved this place and the location. The staff at Rent Key West was very nice and helpful. Mrs. Dorreen was a sweetheart and a lot of help. The only issue was some ants in the house. We would reccomend ann St. to anyone looking for a place in Key West.

Ann Street Tranquility was marvelous!!! I was pleasantly suprised at how the property was exactly like the pictures on the internet. I say that because I had a less than desirable experience outside the country vacationing at a house that we picked out on the internet, and when we got there it was not at all like it was portrayed. With that in mind, I was very skeptical when we first arrived and saw the outside gate with all the trees and vegetation and immediately had a flashback. My girlfriend left me in the car to take the bags in while I waited with the car. I was in the car sitting on pins and needles until she came back and all she said was "It's Cute". Needless to say, from her statement I was not convinced, and I am even more nervous because I picked out the house, so if it had been a dump I wouldn't have been able to blame her.(LOL) But as soon as I walked in the house OMG!!! It was so cozy and quaint, and even though we were a block away from Duval St, when we went in, we were able to leave all the hustle and bustle behind. It was like we were shut off from the world when we were there, and we could just enjoy the house. I would recommend this property very highly to anyone that is looking to have a quiet retreat that is still right around the corner from all the action. It is well worth the investment. My girlfriend and I have claimed ann Street Tranquility as "our home away from home" or as some would say our Honeycomb Hideout!!! Thank you so much for having such a beautiful place for us to stay so that we were able to relax and feel at home . We will be staying there again and again and again. We loved it and so will you.

Anne Street is the perfect location to stay in Key West. You are steps from Scooter rental and just off the main street. The best parts of Key West are all located at this end of the island. Clean, convenient, fantastic location, perfect size for two people. Private swimming pool, landscaping is private. Amenities of the anne Street are great. We stayed for our Honeymoon, and cannot say enough great things about this location. We are definitely coming back for our 1st anniversary!

This year was our third spent at ann Street Tranquility. We stayed for two and a half weeks and were thrilled to find a gas grill on our patio this time. The property was beautiful, as always. We also love the fact that there are only three other rental units on the compound to share the large pool, so often we are the only ones there. We repeatedly rent this property because it is right in the center of the action and most everything is only a short walk away. This saves a tremendous amount of money on car rentals. This vacation was our sixth time renting through Rent Key West Vacations and the staff has always been very helpful and on top of any unforeseen problems. We highly recommend Rent Key West Vacations and especially the ann Street Tranquility property. We will most likely be back there next year to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! On previous trips to KW we have lodged in a private house and a hotel, Ann Street Tranquility was the perfect choice for us. Cozy, convenient, and well-appointed, the condo really gave us the feeling of being right at home in paradise. The two previous reviews are very accurate. The condo not only has all the basics supplies needed for a week's stay but many extras, just look in a cabinet or drawer and you will most likely find anything you may have forgotten to pack. Thanks to whoever left the cold beverages in the fridge, as we arrived too late to make the short (two blocks!) walk to Fausto's our first night. Parking was not an issue for us, we did not bring a car and have never found the need for any form of transportation on the island, other than our own two feet and a cab to and from the airport. Honestly, after racking my brain for any suggestions to improve one's stay here, I am hard-pressed to think of anything except... maybe a small fan for the beautiful patio where we spent a great deal of our time. The convenient location was great but the serenity of the place so affected us that we spent more than one lazy day venturing out only as far as the very private pool! As for the sun only hitting the pool from 12-3p, I cannot comment. We were on island time and napping on the plush bed in cool comfort at this time every day. We did manage enough motivation to do a few activities. Having experienced everything from the Dry Tortuga's to the Hemingway House, we can highly recommend the Sebago Island T'ing trip, great experience and even better value. Also if you don't mind the walk treat yourself to lunch at El Siboney's, we did twice! While the positives of this particular property are too many to mention, perhaps the most significant is the staff at Rent Key West. Everyone was extremely helpful and professional. Special thank you to Joyce! We will most definitely utilize this agency again and again.

This was our second trip to Key West. The first time we stayed in a nice resort, but paid much more per night and had to have scooters to get anywhere. Tranquility was perfect. The noise from Duval was very minimal and usually non-existent. I only heard leaf blowers twice around 8am, but we were trying to be up early to enjoy the day anyway. Very well equipped with everything. And seemed to have a "take one, leave one" theme going with little extras, such as washing detergent, sunscreen and the like. We purchased some laundry goods and paper products which we gladly left to continue the cycle. Another plus was the washer/dryer included with the unit. Other properties on the complex had to make use of a coin laundry in a central building. Tranquility had its own. Everything worked perfectly. No problems what-so-ever. Home was very clean and well decorated. Shower was huge with plenty of room for two. Pool stayed clean and comfortable. The sun only hit for a short time in the afternoon, but it was a nice break away from the heat quite often. Some mentioned the need for landscape maintenance, but to me it was simply a lush, tropical escape with beautiful florals and palms. We met one other couple from the complex at the pool and enjoyed a wonderful conversation for quite awhile and even received an excellent dinner suggestion. The only drawback, which is common anywhere on the island, is parking. There are about 4 spots out front which are highly prized. Otherwise, you may be looking at paid lots or a walk to other parking. Scooters are likely not needed due to its close proximity to everything, but if you should choose to explore away from Duval, the harbor or Mallory Square then scooters or bikes are the way to go. We would highly recommend this property to any couple wanting a clean and convenient stay in beautiful Key West.

This condo is amazing. It is exactly as it looks in the photos and as describe. The location is amaznig- 1 block from Sloppy Joes. The clean, private, shaded pool is a real luxury- we went swimming at least once a day and typicically had the pool all to ourselves. The condo has a gas grill and private patio which has a gate to the street- very nice. Others complained about noise and I'll say this- At night, you can hear music from the bars if you are outside, but inside it is quiet. In the morning you might hear street cleaners or the trash pickup, but it is only for a few minutes and didn't wake me up. This condo provides everything you need- pool towels, cups, basics (oil, spices) for cooking. I had to use the after hours drop box, but it was very convenient to be able to check in late. The a/C worked perfectly during our stay, I saw some ants outside on the patio, but none in the condo. I have absolutely no compaints, I would love to stay here again, but I am so impressed with Rent Key West that I also want to try some of their other places!

We stayed at Tranquility at ann Street gardens for a week for our honeymoon and could not be happier with our experience! What a wonderful place to stay! Checking in was a piece of cake, the property was gorgeous, the unit was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We truly felt like we were in paradise given the lush gardens, especially by the pool area. The private patio was nice - close to the street but we couldn't tell! It was such a nice place to come back to relax at the end of the day. Some reviews mentioned noise in the morning, but we only heard noise on Thursday morning and had no problem sleeping in if we wanted. Tranquility is also in a great location! We were a bit skeptical given how close to the street the property is and how close to Duval Street and Sloppy Joe's, but it was perfect! It was so quiet, but close to everything. We did not feel the need to rent a car, but only rented bikes for a couple of days to explore the island. The only things that could have possibly made Tranquility better would be double sinks in the bathroom (only because we have gotten so used to these at home) and a bike rack on the property. We will definitely be making our way down to Key West again and would consider staying at Tranquility again!

This vacation property is extremely special. It is beautiful and a comfortable place to stay. We really enjoyed the Swimming Pool, Private Patio and most of all the Location. It was great having a Washer/Dryer and our own private Grill. The mattresses were uncomfortable, and only one evening we heard music coming from Duval Street.

had a wonderful time in Key West. Ann St tranquility was amazing. It was decorated nicely, AC worked perfectly, kitchen was fully stocked, laundry facility was great. The outside deck/patio was beautiful. Bring ear plugs if you want to sleep past 7:15am the street cleaners come every morning and garbage/recycleables are picked up on Mon. starting around 5:15am. We knew this going in b/c of the previous reviews and still don't regret renting this place for 1 minute. The pool didn't get sun until around 11ish, but then it was nice and refreshing. If I had to make 1 suggestion, the grounds are beautiful but are in need of some cleaning up. Alot is overgrown, leaves in our patio and the pool area. But nothing that a landscapers can't take care of. Other than that we loved staying and would recommend renting this special place instead of a hotel. Close to everything, 2 blocks from the action. We didn't not hear duval street noise at all at night or during the day.

We got married in Key West in april and stayed at the Tranquility for a week. It was clean, private, romantic and had all the amenities that would make it convenient to stay even longer. Since we were entertaining so many guests we went out a lot. However, this place is perfect if you want to have some quiet nights in and cook and relax on your private patio(with grill). There was also a washer and dryer in the unit which came in handy since we were traveling an additional week afterwards too. It was a little more than we would typically spend but given it was high season we would have paid about the same if we stayed at a Guest house in the area. The location was great, right next to the Curry Mansion and a block away from Duval street. I slept fine and didn't find it loud even being so close to Duval. The management company was extremely helpful too; they let us leave our bags in the office since we arrived before check in time. Thank you for such a great stay!!

We enjoyed being in Key West in February! The location of ann Street in relation to Duval Street was just a little too close. It was very loud at night~late at night! Then at 6:45 to 7:00 every morning the leaf blower man would be outside as well as the big truck that would come down ann Street to clean the street-Yikes! The apartment also was in dire need of Pest Control! We actually spent little time in the unit as we were enthralled with the Keys! So our overall experience with our vacation was wonderful!

everything was over and above, great attention to the details of daily needs, only needed more toilet paper...went to Fausto's and bought some ourselves

I rented this property for my 40th birthday for my partner and myself to relax and get away from everything. The condo was perfect in every way from the size, furniture, fixture to the finishes. It was very private. Everything was perfect. Everyone at Rent Key West was fantastic to deal with. I appreciate everything. Thanks again to each and everyone. Will see you again soon.

Overall we enjoyed the rental, it was very convenient to everything! It is very noisy in the mornings with trucks, garbage trucks, etc so don't plan on sleeping past 7 am. We had to park our rented scooter on the street and someone tried to steal it over night. We tried to park it in the compound but was quickly told we couldn't. Thank goodness the scooter rental company didn't charge us for the damages. Also, the ants in this unit are out of control. We called to complain and they brought us a can of bug spray, within 2 hours the ants were back two fold.

So close to the action on busy Duval St. and to be back at the cottage within a couple of minutes. The cottage was neat and clean and lived up to it's name of Tranquility. It was a beautiful vacation.

You couldn't ask for a better location than ann St. Tranquility. Right next to Duval. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The amenities were well-stocked, the laundry facility was great, and the bed was comfortable. The outdoor patio and grill was convenient and made a great place to keep our bikes. The decor was nice and the a/C worked beautifully. The pool was very refreshing and we never saw anyone else in it the whole week we were there. We didn't have any real problems, and the staff was very friendly. My only small complaint is that we had to check-in at the far end of Duval street - thank goodness for the bikes! We've stayed in the Keys many times before at guest houses and hotels, but the privacy and peace we got here - as well as the great value - will keep us coming back.

The foliage and plantings at the entrance to 217 Ann Street make us immediately feel like we'd arrived at a tropical oasis! It only got better when we opened the door and saw the decor and amenities! The shower is to die for! And the french doors off the bedroom to the enclosed patio made us feel we were in paradise! The bed was very plush, and we had a restful week's sleep! The pool was very private, quiet and refreshing! The location is very convenient to shops, food, and entertainment, only a block from Duval Street - but you would never know as the foliage blocks the noise and chaos. We would HIGHLY recommend a restive stay at Ann Street Tranquility!

Our only reservation concerns the pool area, which was not kept up and offered no chance to sit in the sun. The flat itself is superb.

Ann Street Tranquility was truly a tropical paradise. It was hard to believe that we were only a block from Duval Street. We have been to Key West on 7 previous visits and this was our favorite place. Albeit, if your are looking to sun and swim, this is not the place to come. The tropical trees block the sun from the pool and the pool is not heated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! RLB

My wife and I have stayed at the Ann Street compound three times. The last time we stayed in "Tranquility"--an absolutely beautiful house in an old artists compound. The location is within walking distance of everything!Private and secluded with your own pool and grounds yet only steps to Duval St. and all the restaurants and nightlife you could want. Two blocks to the seaport make this house the perfect "base" of your vacation! Rent Key West is professional yet laid back {as everything is in Key West}!! We can't wait to book our next trip thru Rent KW and will definitely stay in "Tranquility" if available! Enjoy yourselves and remember--"STAY KEYED UP AND CONCHED OUT"!! DAVE and DEB

What a beautiful , peaceful little place! So close to everything Key West has to offer, but secluded enough to have that "getting away" feeling. Our favorite part was the comfy bed. Coming home from our nightime adventures and melting into that big bed was a treat. Ann street Tranquility has everything you need and more to make your vacation truly special.

Key West's Ann St. Tranquility was a wonderful place spending our first week together! It was both quiet and intimate--a retreat from the exciting nightlife of Key West! We loved how cozy the atmosphere the Ann St. house gave us. We only had two complaints for the whole week: 1.) The air was broken in the living room area and we got no response. We even called the rental company twice and spent one afternoon waiting on a repairman. The air was never fixed and we spent limited time in the living room area because of it. 2.) Parking. We know the rental company can do little about the limited parking in Key West however, it is a general complaint that many others have voiced as well. We loved our time in Key West and will definitly return to Ann St. in the future!!!

My wife and I rented the property for our honeymoon and as soon as we walked through the door we were blown away by it. The set up of the house was awesome and the location was great. It is far enough off of Duval street so that you are not bothered by the noise or people but it is close enough that you can walk just about any where. We stayed for a week and loved every minute of it. The only issue we had was that the AC is the living room was broke and it was really hot in that room and the kitchen (especially when we cooked). We called three twice for someone to come and fix it and it never happened. Not sure what happened there but the rest of the service was great and we will for sure be going back again (provided the AC is fixed by then!) The parking situation is also a little sketchy it would be nice if there was a private parking lot for people renting Rent KW's properties cause paying for parking every day can get a little pricey. This was my first trip to Key West and her second and we both agree that this was the way to do it.

The house was charming and had everything we needed. Located a short block from Duval; not far from Front St -- the location was perfect for relaxing away from the noise; yet walkable to everything. There were only 2 negatives and one was just a matter of personal preference. The foliage is so lush, there was no direct sun at the pool. This is probably a plus in the spring/summer months but in Nov/Dec we would have preferred sun. The 2nd comment pertains to the floors in the rental. Although the house was clean, the floors were swept/vac'd only, not washed -- not nice for walking barefoot and something management should insist on from their cleaning people. Rent Key West was easy to deal with and we would definitely rent through them again.

I will stay here again. We have been coming to Key West for 10 years and this is the nicest place we have stayed. You will never know its a rental. It looks like a home you would want to live in. I think the location was great but, I wish the pool was heated. Even in March, its to cool to swim unless it is heated. Overall, a 9.25 on a scale of 10.

We enjoyed the cottage. The interior was beautiful and very clean. Very nicely decorated with higher end accessories. The location was absolutely perfect. The only improvement that could be made was the entrance and pool area was not well manicured. It was very overgrown and jungle like. We would not hesitate to return.

Everything is perfect EXCEPT the minimum length of stay is too long. I think it is 6-7 nights but most folks, who are long time visitors of Key West, only want to stay 3-4 nights. The folks at Rent Key West are outstanding and so is the the unit. Can't think of one thing that needs changing except the min.
