The living room is spacious & comfortable with bright tropical colors with an small lounging corner where you can relax in the overstuffed chaise, read a good book, take a nap, all while gazing out to the pool and patio. Several new upgrades have been added by the owners including a new ductless air conditioner to cool or heat the living area.
The master bedroom sits to the rear of the property with french doors to a private patio space complete with new 6-person hottub and outdoor shower. Your own outdoor spa! The second bedroom is on the front of the house adjacent to the living room with French doors leading out to the pool. Bedding: 2 kings, 1 sleeping sofa
We loved the South St. house! My husband is in the military and we needed a temporary home while we looked for a long term rental. We stayed a little over a month here and we didn't want to leave. The pool in the front yard was so refreshing and just the right temperature. The deck all around it was a great place to entertain. The bedrooms were comfortable. The hot tub was very private. The kitchen well equipped. Plenty of space to park. All in all we had a great month there and really enjoyed our stay. The staff at Rent KW is very friendly, thoughtful, and took care of us extremely well.
South St Cottage needs alittle more updating, tile floors are in poor condition, carpets need cleaning or relpaced, pool needs to be asid washed or new marcite, Pool needs a automatic daily pool cleaner or sweep. Property has a musty smell, felt like perhaps there was mold growing behind the walls. No smoke detectors, and door locks could only open with a key from inside. One positive was the landscaping, it was beautiful and nicley done, as well the furniture was in good condition, both inside & out. I would probably not rent this property again. But I will rent through Rent Key West Vactions again.
Liked the service offered by the broker,highly responsive to calls on problems, Unit could have been cleaner,furnishings tired,TV dated,outdoor grill poor condition, pool without thermometer,which I had to provide,owner would not invest $5. to keep tenant happy,after $11,000. rental
The South St.Cottage recently went through a renovation with a custom paint job inside and new, quality furniture added including a large flat panel TV. There's a new bar-b-que outside. The private pool has lots of privacy and room to roam around. The house is located in a quiet part of town, just a quick bike ride into Old Town.
