This upcoming Saturday, March 27 the Eco Discovery Center is hosting their first Ocean Festival. Tons of fun for the whole family and it is free! The festival begins at noon and won't end until the sun goes down! There will be live music, artistry, kids activities, educational exhibits and more. Located at the end of Southard Street adjacent to Fort Zachary Taylor, it is a fabulous way to spend the day.
Key Westers love a full moon; this upcoming Monday, March 29, join in on the South Duval Gallery and Cafe Neighborhood “Howl”. Celebrate the full moon and stroll among the South Duval art galleries, cozy neighborhood bars and exquisite restaurants. The SODU neighborhood, between Truman and United Streets, will open their doors between 7pm and 10pm, with food and drink specials, music, hospitality, arts and entertainment. Let the light of the moon guide you through this unique and eclectic section of Duval Street.
Speaking of exquisite restaurants, our featured restaurant this week happens to be in the SODU neighborhood. On your “Full Moon Howl” make sure to visit La Te Da restaurant. La Te Da is part of the stylish La Te Da Hotel. The gourmet dining and captivating bars will delight your palate and entertain you. A popular locals spot, La Te Da is a 'Key West classic'.
See you there!
